教 学 思 路 首先，以3a的问题导入，将问题的答案要点写下来，为完成3b写作做好准备。 然后，完成 3b的写作，完成后小组内互相交流纠错，借鉴好词好句 接着，完成Self Check1，检测学生对when 和while用法的掌握情况 最后，完成Self Check2，使学生灵活运用所学知识
备注：以“学习反馈、展示交流、拓展提高、巩固检测、归纳小结”的五步多元教学法为基础进行多元模式教学设计，并附加分层作业布置和课后反思。

Step 2 完成教材3a—3b的任务 1.两人一组互相提问3a中的问题，然后将问题的答案要点写下来，为完成3b写作做好准备。 2. .根据3a问题的答案以及3b的写作提示，完成 3b的写作，完成后小组内互相交流纠错，借鉴好词好句，教师抽查点拨。 参考案例: An important event that I remember well was Wenchuan Earthquake. It happened on May 12，2008 in Wenchuan，Sichuan. When I heard the news of this event，I was working. My friends were watching games on TV. This event is very important to me because many people died in the earthquake. They need some help. Lots of people came to help them. 3.参考学案上的单元写作指导，让学生看后，完成拓展训练。 4.教师点评学生作文。 Step 3完成Self Check 3.拓展提高 (1).over over意为“超过；多于”，相当于more than，与数词连用。 例句：There are over 70 students in this class.这个班有70多名学生。 over作副词还可意为“又；再”，常用于短语over again 再；重新。 (2).believe believe作动词，意为“相信；认为真实”，其后可接名词、代词或从句。 例句：I still can\'t believe her story.我还是不能相信她的故事。 believe 与 believe in believe意为“相信；认为真实”，指相信某事是真实的或相信某人说的是实话。How can you believe him He is always telling lies.你怎么可以相信他说的话？他经常在说谎。believe in意为“信任”，指信赖某人或相信某事物的存在。They need a leader they can believe in. 他们需要一个可以信赖的领导。
(3).silence silence 作名词，意为“沉默；缄默；无声”。in silence 意为“沉默；无声”；keep silence 意为“保持沉默”。 例句：After a moment\'s silence, he went on speaking.他沉默了一会儿又继续说了下去。 (4).so…that… so…that…意为“如此……以至于……”，that引导结果状语从句 例句：He was so tired that he couldn’t go any farther.他是如此疲劳，以至于他不能再往前走了。 (5).hardly hardly否定副词，意为“几乎不；几乎没有”。含有hardly的句子即被视为否定句，其反意疑问句要用肯定式。 例句：The girl was so frightened that she could hardly say a word.那个女孩如此害怕，以至于几乎不能说出一句话来。 He can hardly speak English, can he 他几乎不会说英语，是吗？ 四、巩固检测 1）.
