佛国寺 Bulguksa
佛国寺 Bulguksa
Established in the 8th century on the slopes of Mount Toham, the Seokguram Grotto contains a monumental statue of the Buddha looking at the sea in the bhumisparsha mudra position.
With the surrounding portrayals of gods, Bodhisattvas and disciples, all realistically and delicately sculpted in high and low relief, it is considered a masterpiece of Buddhist art in the Far East.
The Temple of Bulguksa (built in 774) and the Seokguram Grotto form a religious architectural complex of exceptional significance.
朝鲜王陵 Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty
朝鲜王陵 Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty
The Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty form a collection of 40 tombs scattered over 18 locations. Built over five centuries, from 1408 to 1966, the tombs honoured the memory of ancestors, showed respect for their achievements, asserted royal authority, protected ancestral spirits from evil and provided protection from vandalism.
Spots of outstanding natural beauty were chosen for the tombs which typically have their back protected by a hill as they face south toward water and, ideally, layers of mountain ridges in the distance.
Alongside the burial area, the royal tombs feature a ceremonial area and an entrance. In addition to the burial mounds, associated buildings that are an integral part of the tombs include a T-shaped wooden shrine, a shed for stele, a royal kitchen and a guards’ house, a red-spiked gate and the tomb keeper’s house.
Background
information
In traveling, sightseeing constitutes an essential and major part. Tourists usually go to visit local scenic areas and historic sites.
Tour guides lead you to these places and give relevant commentaries. They must have enough skill, patience, and keen ability to think on the feet.
Traveling while juggling lodging arrangements, finding lost luggage, and keeping customers happy can be a handful.
But imagine yourself doing those things while visiting some of the best real estate in the World!
Background
information
Tour guides all agree that although the travel is great, you can’t cut it as a tour guide if you don’t really like the people you travel with ---- your customers.
As one tour escort put it: “Let’s face it. You go to a destination once and you are nervous and excited, twice and you love it, but three times and you are already getting bored.
That’s why it is important to really get along well with the passengers and enjoy their company……”

Sri Lanka斯里兰卡
The ruins of the capital built by the parricidal King Kassapa I (477–95) lie on the steep slopes and at the summit of a granite peak standing some 180m high (the 'Lion's Rock', which dominates the jungle from all sides).
A series of galleries and staircases emerging from the mouth of a gigantic lion constructed of bricks and plaster provide access to the site.
