Brief Introduction to Yunnan Province
Position It sits in the southwest of China.
Area It has a total area of 390 000 square kilometers.
Population It has over 45 966 00 in 2010.
Climate It is plateau monsoon climate.
Famous tourist attractions Lijiang Ancient City, Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Stone Forest of Lunan, Mount Cangshan and Erhai Lake Scenic Area, Tiger Leaping Gorge as well as Lugu Lake.
Brief Introduction to Yunnan Province
Yunnan province is a beautiful and mysterious place sitting in the southwest of China with a population of over 45 966 00 in 2010 and a total area of 390 000 square kilometers. It is plateau monsoon climate and called “Spring City”. Yunnan Province is the home to the richest variety of ethnic groups in China for there are 52 ethnic minorities in the region. Yunnan is not only a geological museum but the kingdom of plants, animals, flowers and nonferrous metals. All the tourist sites leave a deep impression and will constantly attract domestic and foreign tourists with its long history, splendid culture, desirable scenery and colorful ethnic customs.

By the time the tour closes to the end, the tourists must be desperately homesick and the guide is extremely exhausted. However, there is still a last task for a local guide to complete—departure service. It is of equal importance to the service of welcoming and receiving the tourists. Good departure service may not only make a deep impression on the tourists but also draw perfect end successfully for the whole work of a local guide.
The departure service contains the procedures of confirmation, information, checking, farewell speech and seeing the guests off.

Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple the oldest and grandest Buddhist architecture in southern China and has recorded the course of the Buddhism development in Dali City, Yunnan Province.
The Three Pagodas is located at the foot of Mt. Cang facing Erhai Lake about 1.5 kilometers northwest of the ancient city of Dali, and has a history of more than
1 800 years dating from the time of the Nanzhao kingdom and Kingdom of Dali.
The elegant, balanced and stately style is unique in China’s ancient Buddhist architectures.The Three Pagodas, visible from miles away, have been a landmark of Dali City and selected as a national treasure in China.
----- Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple
Originally, the Three Pagodas were a part of Chongsheng Temple which has been the royal temple of the Kingdom of Dali. The Three Pagodas were initially built in the era of Quan Fengyou Emperor of Nanzhao Kingdoms about the same time of the Tang Dynasty .
The main square-shaped pagoda, known as Qianxun Pagoda, stands 69.13 meters in height and is divided into 16 stories with multiple tiers of upturned eaves, reportedly built during 823AD-839AD by King Quan Fengyou of the Nanzhao State.
The other two octagonal-shaped lower pagodas stand to the north and south of Qianxun Pagoda. Each one has 10 tiers with a height of 43 meters. There are three copper-made calabashes with an umbrella shaped bronze bell connected on the top of each pagoda. They were constructed during the period of the Five Dynasty (907-960), slightly later than the main one.

The Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple are really the famous representative work among ancient Chinese pagodas and the treasure in the history of Buddhist pagoda construction.
China is one of the world’s great ancient civilized
countries with a history of more than 5 000 years.
There are 56 different nationalities with a total
population of more than 1.3 billion living in the
richly endowed country. Besides the Han
nationality, China recognizes 55 ethnic minorities
with a total of approximately 113 million people,
constituting 8.49% of the total population in 2011.
With mutual influence on each other in the fields
of economy, politics and culture, the minority
nationalities have developed their own communities
which are full of cultural characteristics respectively.
