资源简介 Unit 2 Wildlife ProtectionListening and Talking教案教材分析:本单元主题是保护野生动物,前几节可已经大致了解了野生动物的生存现状和未来。本节课为听说课,主要内容是围绕保护野生动物这一主题进行对应听力理解练习,了解同辈为保护野生动物做出的努力,并根据保护身边的野生动物提出自己的看法,本课时的重点表达方式在于如to do sth, in order to do sth, so that等表示“目的”的表达方式,本课的重点句型是关于目的表达的句型,如:this is used for…; I did it in order to…等。本课时的价值取向在于了解野生动物的相关问题和提供解决办法,提高对身边野生动物的关注,增强责任意识,保护动物从身边做起。教学策略与设计说明:采用听说法(audio lingual teaching),在不断的重复和操练中,让学生熟悉相关的单词用法。采用情境教学法(Situational teaching method), 借助多媒体设备,创设保护野生动物的主题情境,引导学生进入情境,在情境中完成教学。教学目标:在本节课学习结束时,学生能够:语言能力上,学习掌握观察鸟类的相关词汇,如 binoculars, bird feeder, bird field guide;学习表示“目的”的表达方式,如to do sth., in order to do sth., so that等。基本就保护野生动物这一话题展开讨论并运用本单元已学内容。思维品质上,拓宽学生视野,在学习过程中了解到野生动物的现状及我们能够提供的帮助,积极思考帮助身边野生动物的方法。增强责任意识,向材料中保护野生动物的榜样学习。文化意识上,通过了解流浪动物的问题和提供解决办法,提高对身边野生动物的关注,保护动物从身边做起。学习能力上,提高对保护野生动物这一话题的听力理解能力和表达技巧;掌握提建议和表达目的的技巧。教学重点:学习掌握观察鸟类的相关词汇,如 binoculars, bird feeder, bird field guide;学习表“目的”的表达方式,如to do sth, in order to do sth, so that等。基本就保护野生动物这一话题展开简单的讨论。教学难点:通过了解流浪动物的问题和提供解决办法,提高对身边野生动物的关注,提高对保护野生动物这一话题的听力理解能力和表达技巧。教学资源:教材、多媒体课件、黑板与粉笔。教学过程:步骤 教学活动 设计意图 时间与模式Step 1 Lead-in: T asks Ss whether they know any endangered birds. T can introduce some endangered birds to Ss such as dicaeum quadrcolor and thalasseus bernsteini. Linking to what Ss have learnt, T asks Ss why some kinds of birds are endangered. T leads Ss to think about the question from several aspects like habitat, pollution, food chain and so on T asks how can we protect birds, Ss discuss in pairs. . Suggested answers: Study the lifestyles of wild birds. Build some bird feeders in proper places. Advocate the harm of killing birds. Build some bird houses for birds. 思考保护鸟类的措施,引入保护野生动物这一话题,并复习本单元已学内容。 4’ GWStep 2: Warming-up: T asks Ss to name the equipment about birds and match the words with the pictures on the textbook. First, T needs to analyse the features of each equipment, then show the answers. T gives a question to make Ss think about functions of each item for preparing next listening part. Suggested answers: Binoculars, bird feeders, bird field guide. 学习与鸟类相关的设施,提升知识储备,分析特点为听力做准备。 3’ CWStep 3 Think and match: T asks Ss to think how much they know about equipment and choose the right ending for the following sentences Suggested answers: DCAB 引导思考与鸟类相关设备的作用,感受表目的句型,为进一步学习相关句型和词组做铺垫。 5’ CW/IWStep 4 Learn the expressions: T and Ss learn the phrases to express intentions together and make some examples with extra phrases. After showing the example, T can divide Ss into several groups, and ask a student from a group to say a sentence with one of phrases, and others in the group need to replace the purpose phrase in the sentence one by one. 在学习完句型之后直接学习表目的词组,进一步巩固知识,帮助学生更好地使用相关词组和句,提高语言能力。 5’ CWStep 5 Word study: T gives more examples for key phrases. 学习重点词汇及其中文释义,巩固表目的的表达方式。 5’ CWStep 6 Listening: Ss listen to the recording and answer the question. T highlights the key words in each sentence for predicting answers. Suggested answer: They’re from a birdwatching club. In the Qinling Mountains. They’re searching for new wild birds and looking them up in their field guide. It’s interesting and you can practise it anywhere 根据听力材料回答指定问题,帮助学生准确理解听力结构,抓住主要信息,提高语言能力及学习能力。 8’ CWStep 7 Listen and fill: Ss listen again and use the phrases you hear to fill in the blanks. T uses different colours to highlight key words for locating answers and clues for answers. It is a good way to teach Ss how to prepare well before listening and improve the efficiency and accuracy. When checking the answers, T can pause the recording sentence by sentence not only focusing on the answers but also repeating sentence pattern and linking phrases. Then discuss what they can do to care for them in groups. 笑在讨论中提高学生口头表达能力,培养学生提建议的能力和团队协作精神,引起对流浪动物的重视,提高保护动物的责任感。 10’ GWStep 9 Homework : Ss are asked to make the following discussion: Imagine you work for WWF. Discuss in groups about what you would suggest and give a presentation in class.
