教材分析:
本课时简要介绍了定语从句,特别是关系代词的意义与使用。本文的取向在于学生通过学习,进一步运用关于朋友与友情问题的表达,理解朋友与友情的意义与内涵,回顾介绍自己的好友。
教学策略与设计说明:
1. 采用任务型教学法(Task-based language teaching),布置活动任务,设置活动目的,引导学生完成相关任务,达成各教学步骤设计目的。
教学目标:
在本课学习结束时,学生能够:
语言能力上,习得涉及介绍朋友与事件等话题的重点词组,习得涉及定语从句的语法点,特别是关系代词的形式、功能与使用,如 who, that, which。
思维品质上,归纳定语从句中关系词的类型,梳理定语从句中的逻辑关系。
文化品格上,回顾介绍自己的好友,理解朋友与友情的意义与内涵。
学习能力上,学会运用归纳方法对语法点进行分类学习。
教学重点:
学生了解定语从句,特别是关系代词的基本形式与功能。
教学难点:
学生学会使用关系代词进行句子改写与写作。

Step 1 Lead-in: Ss are asked to think about what we can do to comfort our friends. T could offer some hints if necessary. T could give several examples of what we are suggested to do and what we are suggested not to do. 利用图片,激活学生已有知识,引出主题。 5’ CW/IW

Step 3 Explore the rules: T introduces some basic information about relative clauses and relative pronouns and adverbs. Ss summarizes the key rules for the grammatical points. 引导学生学习定语从句相关语法知识,引导学生整理归纳所学知识,提升学生语言知识与学习能力。 5’ CW/IW
Step 4 Apply the rules: Ss are asked to rewrite the sentences with correct relative pronouns. Before that, T could introduce the basic strategy for rewriting the sentences. T and Ss check the answers together. 引导学生完成任务,并提示任务完成思路与方法。 10’ CW/IW
Step 5 Apply the rules: Ss are asked to complete the passage with correct relative pronouns where necessary. T and Ss check the answer together. 强化所学内容,进行操练。 6’ CW/IW
Step 6 Discuss with a partner: Ss are asked to think about the cases where the relative pronouns can be deleted. T leads the Ss to check the answers together and summarize the key grammatical points. 拓展所学语法点,提升学生语言能力。 5’ CW
Step 7 Apply the rules: Ss are asked to describe a friend using relative clauses where necessary. T could offer some hints and examples if necessary. 巩固所学语言与内容,应用所学内容,全方位训练语言技能。 10’ CW/GW
Step 8 Homework: Find the people or the things mentioned above in the picture and tell your partner where they are with the use of relative clauses. Can you find the woman who is applying sunscreen / the boy who is building a snow man / the man who is wearing three watches / the animal that is playing the guitar / the man who is taking a nap
