资源简介 U4 Looking good, feeling goodIntegrated skills 第一课时 教案教材分析:本课时通过两篇新闻报道与一段视频报道,介绍整形手术的利弊。重点表达与表达主要涉及事件描述、利弊讨论、整形手术等话题。本文的价值取向在于学生通过学习,学习整形手术的基本内容、利弊与意义,能正确的看待美的含义与整形手术的意义,提高对美的概念的认识,增强个人自信。教学策略与设计说明:采用任务型教学法(Task-based language teaching),布置活动任务,设置活动目的,引导学生完成相关任务,达成各教学步骤设计目的。教学目标:在本课学习结束时,学生能够:语言能力上,习得涉及事件描述、利弊讨论、整形手术等话题的重点词组与句式,如plastic surgery;提高听力判断内容的能力;结合听力内容,可以主动用口语表达对于整容手术的态度。思维品质上,梳理阅读文章主要事件发展逻辑与主要内容;梳理听力内容关键词与观点,归纳对话涉及的主要信息;辩证性的看待整形手术的意义与用能,能提高批判性思维能力。文化品格上,学习整形手术的基本内容、利弊与意义,能正确的看待美的含义与整形手术的意义,提高对美的概念的认识,提升自信及对自己的认同。学习能力上,归纳与学习完成听力任务的策略与技巧;学会以大纲形式,有逻辑的归纳听力与阅读材料。教学重点:学生通过输入内容,了解整形手术的利与弊。学生能有逻辑的归纳总结听力与阅读训练主要内容。教学难点:学生能对美树立正确的态度与观点教学资源:教材、多媒体课件、黑板与粉笔。教学过程:步骤 教学活动 设计意图 时间与模式Step 1 Lead-in: Ss are asked to think about the questions. Then T leads Ss to know the fact that a lot of people are not very satisfied their looking and learn the definition of plastic surgery. And ask question What do people do to make them look better in a short term 加深上一步活动,引导学生学前了解熟悉整形手术的背景与定义。 5’ IW/CWStep 3 Read and answer: Ss are asked to read two news stories below about plastic surgery and answer the following questions. T could lead Ss to review some key elements of news report. How did the plastic surgery help Mr Wilson What problems did the plastic surgery bring to Miss Edwards Then T leads Ss to check the answers together. 总结阅读任务完成技巧,引导学生进行阅读任务,提升学生学习能力。 8’ CW/IWStep 4 Background information: Ss are asked to conclude and think about the advantages and disadvantage of plastic surgery. T leads Ss to organize a summary of the pros and cons of the surgery. 基于阅读内容,引导学生对整形手术进行批判性思考,提高学生思维品质。 5’ CW/IWStep 5 Listen and circle: T analyses which statements are true (T), false (F) or not given (NG). Before the task, Ss are given the strategies of how to finish the task step by step. T helps Ss to understand the differences between key words and judgement by using statements as examples. 引导学生进行听力训练,并总结归纳听力技巧,提升学生学习能力。 8’ GW/IWStep 6 Listen and complete: Ss are asked to listen again and complete the notes. T and Ss check the answers together. T helps Ss to read questions\, find out key words and analyse phrase structures. 5’ CW/IWStep 7 Background information: T leads the Ss to know more knowledge of the popularity of plastic surgery in today’s world by read a data summary from a report of American Society of Plastic Surgeons. 引导学生熟悉背景知识,增强个人对于该话题的体验,为下一阶段活动打基础。 3’ CWStep 8 Discuss with a partner: Ss are asked to discuss the following questions. 1. Why do the greater number of people take the plastic surgery [after answering the question, T can show an example of aging. Then, T plays the first micro video “What aging is” to tell the definition of aging] 2. Do you think plastic surgery is the only way for anti-aging [T encourages Ss to list possible methods for dealing with aging, and also, plays the second micro video “Two ways of anti-aging” to conclude.] Finally, T guides Ss to think about other modest methods to make you look beautiful. 总结和提炼输入材料中的信息并进行反思和研讨。通过抗衰的话题,讨论追求美的现象。通过微课引导,了解到有很多适当变美的方法,提高学生辩证思考能力,为下一课时议论整容手术的必要性进行铺垫。 10’ CW/GWStep 9 Think about the questions: Ss are asked to recall the description people used in the video. Discuss the following questions in pairs.
