Project & Assessment 教案
教材分析:
本课时包含“Project”和“Assessment”两个板块。“Project”板块要求学生通过小组合作为喜欢的电影配音。学生首先需要根据一系列提示选择一个电影片段,其次根据配音的基本策略进行练习,最后呈现各自小组的表演。“Assessment”板块要求学生进行自我评价和同伴互评,根据评价结果撰写相应的行动计划。最后通过相关电影和奥斯卡奖的介绍,拓展学生的知识面,引导学生深度学习。
教学策略与设计说明:
采用任务型教学法(Task-based language teaching),布置活动任务,设置活动目的,引导学生完成相关任务,达成各教学步骤设计目的。
教学目标:
在本课学习结束时,学生能够:
语言能力上,在复杂多样的情境中,运用恰当的语气和语音语调,清晰流畅地表达出符合电影角色的语言,提高语言运用能力。
思维品质上,利用多元思维思考问题,从不同的视角考虑同一个问题,提高批判性思维能力。
文化品格上,了解电影中配音和特效的相关背景知识,感受电影的魅力,熟悉配音表演的技巧和方法,体验表演和配音的乐趣。
学习能力上,运用恰当的语音语调,肢体语言和面部表情,演绎电影中的台词;及时评价和反思学习成果,根据自身的情况调整学习计划。
教学重点:
学生能够掌握配音表演的技巧,运用恰当的语音语调为电影角色配音。
学生能够评价和反思学习成果,制定相应的学习计划。
教学难点:
学生采用不同的语气,语音和语调配音。

Step 1 Lead-in: 1. Ss watch a video and think about what the woman is doing in the video. Suggested answer: She is dubbing a film scene (Frozen). T poses a question “According to the video, what requirements does dubbing a film scene need ” Suggested answers: Simulating the voice of the character in the video; Using the body language; Acting; Expressing the character's emotions; ... 3. T introduces the background of dubbing. (employed in the original-language version of a sound track for technical reasons ...) 观看视频,提高学生学习兴趣,引入主题“dubbing a film scene”; 创设问题情境,激活学生的背景知识。 5’ CW
Step 2 Choose a scene: Ss work in groups and choose a film scene they like. Use the following tips: Are there enough characters in the scene for everyone in your group Do the characters speak more or less the same amounts Are the words clear to understand How long does the scene last T provides an example (watch a video about a film scene excerpted from Kung Fu 3). 为学生选择配音素材提供文本提示和视频范例,为接下来配音练习做好准备。 5’ CW
Step 3 Strategy: T leads Ss to learn the strategy of voice acting: (1) Speak clearly and try to stay in time with the person speaking in the film. (2) Use your body language to get into character and help the feelings come naturally. Even though only your voice will be heard, you need to act with your whole body. 为学生的配音练习提供策略支持,掌握配音的技巧和方法。 3’ CW
Step 4 Practice: Ss practice dubbing a film scene with their group members. T provides some help in pronunciation and grammar when it’s necessary. 小组练习配音,教师在必要的时候提供语言上的指导。 5’ CW/IW
Step 5 Presentation: 1. Ss present their dubbing to the class in different ways: (1) Record your dubbing and the film scene, and present a video in class. (2) Record your dubbing and present an audio in class. (3) Perform your dubbing in class, without your recording in advance. 2. T could ask Ss to perform their dubbing in class without recording in advance, because everyone’s performance can be seen. Step 6 Questions: Ss think about and answer the following questions: Do you want to be a voice actor in the future Why or why not What advantages does dubbing a film scene have in terms of English learning Why do the filmmakers rely on dubbing to supply the sound track of an entire film (T needs to lead Ss to think about all factor they can consider to decide their opinion) Suggested answers: 1. Yes. Because dubbing a film makes me feel like performing a character in the film. No. Because I'm not good at imitating different voice. Improve the fluency of spoken language; Learn more authentic and natural expressions; make English learning more interesting; ... 3. Dubbing is less expensive and troublesome than synchronized filming; Synchronously recorded dialogue may be unclear or inaudible in a long-distance shot; Dubbing helps promoting movies in different languages; ... 发散学生多元思维和批判性能力,从不同视角思考问题。 6’ IW/CW
Step 7 Assessment: Ss write down their own performance level (1-5) in the table. 培养学生自我反思和评价的学习习惯。 3’ IW/GW

Step 9 Further study: T gives a brief introduction to The Jungle Book T introduces the Academy Award (the Oscar) and its history. 拓展学生知识面。 8’ CW
Step 10 Homework: Pick a film which won Oscar, and dub the film scene with your partner. 增强学生英语学习的兴趣。 1’ CW
