教材分析:
本课时包含“Exploring the rule”和“Applying the rule”两个板块。“Exploring the rule”板块通过呈现电影《奇幻森林》的简介,让学生阅读语篇并辨别出语篇例句中主语和动词的规律并分类;再对例句进行分析概括,归纳总结主谓一致的规则。“Applying the rule”板块通过句子选词填空等练习进一步巩固学生对句子主谓一致的掌握,最后让学生通过小组合作,讨论3D电影的历史,特征和缺点,在真实的情境中运用所学规则,提高学生的语用能力。
教学策略与设计说明:
采用归纳法(Inductive method),呈现若干例句,让学生发现和归纳各类短语的形式与功能,不断练习,进一步强化后再产出。
教学目标:
在本课学习结束时,学生能够:
语言能力上,在语篇中正确理解和使用主谓一致,熟练地运用所学语法知识描述和介绍电影;根据语境和语法规则,恰当地选择词汇表达意义;运用所学的语言知识简单介绍电影
思维品质上,通过对语言的观察、辨别和分析,归纳和概括出语法规则;用辩证思维的方式,看待3D效果优缺点。
文化品格上,了解和认识3D电影的历史和特征,欣赏电影的魅力;让学生描述喜爱的电影,提高文化认知。
学习能力上,自主探究,合作学习,在语境中理解和运用词汇和语法,通过分类加深对主谓一致规则的理解和记忆。
教学重点:
学生能够在语境中辨别出句子的主谓一致,分析和概括使用规则。

Step 1 Lead-in: Ss watch a video and tell the name of the movie in the video. “The Jungle Book” T presents the transcript of the film and asks Ss to recognize the subject and verb of each sentence and find out the rule. Step 2 Fill in the table: 1. Ss read the introduction about the Jungle Book and pay attention to the underlined subjects and verbs and fill in the table. Step 3 Work out the rules: Ss work out the rules after categorizing the connection between the subject and verb: T teaches related rules and provide example sentences. 引导学生归纳概括句子中主语和谓语的联系,主谓一致及其规则;利用例句和颜色加深学生对主谓一致规则的认识。 10’ CW/IW
Step 4 Strategy: T teaches the strategy: To accomplish subject-verb agreement, you should: (1) Identify the real subject; (2) Decide whether the verb is singular or plural. 为接下里的语法练习提供策略支持。 2’ CW
Step 5 Circle the words: Ss circle the correct words to complete the sentence. (T could remind Ss to identify the subject firstly and then decide whether the verb is singular or plural) 在句子中巩固学生对主谓一致规则的掌握。提高自我检测的学习能力。 3’ IW/CW
Step 6 Fill in the blank: 1. Ss complete the conversation with the correct forms of the words. (T could teach Ss to select the words according to the context and meaning of the sentence) Ss work in pairs and role play the conversation between Laura and Simon. T asks the question “Do you want to see the movie Why or why not ” for concluding the passage main and supporting ideas. Before Ss give their own ideas, T can give a mind map to ask Ss think about what they have learnt. 在语篇中巩固学生对主谓一致规则的掌握,增加对意义的理解。通过口语问题,主谓一致的语言运用能力。 3’ IW/CW
Step 7 Key words: T teaches the key words by providing pictures, collocations and example sentences. 利用图片和例句教单词,增加单词学习的效率和趣味性。 4’ GW
Step 8 Pair work: Ss work in pairs and introduce 3-D films to each other. Use the note and expressions below to help them. Pay attention to the subject-verb agreement. Step 9 Planning a paragraph: T asks the question “What’s your favorite movie ” and requires Ss to plan a short paragraph. T leads Ss to consider the aspects of introduction to the film by using the mind map, such as title, type, director, lead character, plot overview, the reasons why you like the film, ... T provides expressions for expressing the aspects of the film above.
