Then, T highlights research and teaches the advantages and disadvantages of each research method. Ss can use different way according to the list teacher offers. 通过复习国外的节日,串讲本单元内容。老师引导学生辩证思考不同查资料的方法,提高学生学习能力。 10’ CW/IWStep 3 Project: Ss are required to collect information about their chosen writer as a group of four. T shows a mind map to stretch ideas. T can provide The Day of Dead as an example to show how to use mind map to organize information. 教师提供mind map并根据例子详细讲解,提高学生学习方法的使用。学生提高团队合作能力。讨论过程中,实现生生互动、师生互动。拓宽思路,集思广益。 20’ CW/GWStep 4 Making slides: Having received enough information, each group needs to make slides. First, T needs to explain the functions and features of PPT. Then T shows how to make good slides. T uses two slides in the textbook, and lead Ss to evaluate these two slides before making their own slides. Next, Ss have 10-15 minutes to complete the task. 学习增加对于PPT的理解,并习得如何制作好的幻灯片。使用例子进行支撑,加强知识理解,利于后续制作幻灯片。 25’ GW/CWStep 5 Presentation: Each group selects a student to give a presentation in front of the class.
