高考英语作文---介绍类
定义：
介绍信（介绍类作文）包括人物、地点、物品、活动项目(新闻报道)、节日、传统文化、征文投稿、宣传稿、倡议书（信）等方面的介绍。
要求：
根据不同的介绍类型，有不同的文体要求。
通常包括三部分内容：
1. 题干背景 2. 介绍主体 3. 结尾
介绍信常见模板：
Knowing/Considering that you show great interest in ________ (题目背景), I’m more than delighted to give you a brief introduction.
To begin with, ________(介绍1). In addition, ________(介绍2). What’s more, ________(介绍3). Last but not least, ________(介绍4).

1. 题干背景常见写法

The Importance of Using Body Language Properly
Last weekend was memorable when I took part in an English speech contest held by our school, which made me realize the importance of using body language properly.
To begin with, I showed my confidence by walking onto the stage quickly and firmly(steadily). Then, I used the gestures of my arms and rich facial expressions to give my speech vividly. Finally/eventually, after the speech, I bowed to express my thanks/gratitude to all the people there.
There is no doubt that body language is both important and meaningful. What's more, it can teach us how to build up our confidence to face challenges and overcome difficulties.

My Favorite Person in Ancient China
Among all the brilliant people in ancient China, I admire Confucius most.
Confucius was born in 551 BCE in the state of Lu. Because of his hard work and considerable knowledge, he enjoyed great popularity at a young age. He traveled a lot to try to persuade kings to accept his political opinions. Although he failed, he established the first private school in China and founded Confucianism.
Confucius was so influential that many of his teachings are still valued today. His words were recorded in a book. By reading it, people can benefit a lot from his wisdom.

Dear editor,
In order to better experience traditional Chinese culture, the Students’ Union of our school organized a meaningful activity to visit an Chinese painting exhibition in the school hall last weekend.
In the activity, the guide enthusiastically explained each piece in detail and introduced to us the Chinese famous painters we admire most, such as Xu Beihong, Qi Baishi and so on. By participating in the well-organized activities, I’ve benefited a great deal from them. Not only can I cultivate my patience and imagination, but also I can get easier access to our excellent history and culture, which can enrich my mind.
To be honest, it will be a good chance for you to learn about traditional Chinese culture. I strongly appeal to all the students in our school to make use of their spare time to taste these wonderful works carefully!

A Cross-Country Running Race
Last Sunday witnessed an extraordinary cross-country running race, which nearly drew the attention of every student and teacher of our school.
The students selected from every class took part in the competition. The route measured five kilometers, from our school gate to the foot of Nanshan Mountain. Every runner tried their best to finish the task, with their classmates along the way giving them necessarily help as well as encouragement. At last, all the runners managed to arrive the finish line, receiving cheers from all the directions.
The activity was highly spoken of, because not only did it provide chance for us to exercise, but also made us more cohesive.

As the 10th anniversary ceremony of YOUTH is drawing near, I am writing to take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt congratulations.
Ever since I was young, my parents exposed me to various magazines, but YOUTH was my favorite which has gained high praise from many students including me, a regular reader. Not only does it supply me with a platform to broaden my horizon, but its rich content can also spark my burning passion for English. The Dragon Boat Festival, one of the Chinese traditional festivals, dates back to over 2,000 years. It is celebrated on the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar, and it will fall on June 9 next year. The festival is best-known for its dragon-boat races, especially in the southern places where there are many rivers and lakes.
Besides, people always cook and eat rice dumplings made of glutinous rice and wrapped by bamboo leaves to celebrate it. People celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival in honor of Qu Yuan, a great poet of ancient China. In my opinion, it is of great necessity to attach importance to our traditional festivals, for they’re part of our culture.

I am very happy that you are planning to have your vacation in China during the Spring Festival.
The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China, which lasts 15 days from the first day of lunar calendar to the 15th. People are busy doing cleaning, putting on the spring couplets and buying flowers. On the New Year’s Eve, people have a big dinner with their family, talking and laughing.
Dumplings are the most popular food, for people believe they can bring good fortune. People, wearing new clothes, visit relatives and friends with the words “Happy New Year” on the first day and enjoy the traditional entertainment called lion and dragon dance, which dates back to 2,000 years.
