教材分析
Explore Peru 部分包括两部分，第一部分是介绍性文本，介绍了秘鲁的地理位置，地貌特征以及历史文化。该文体常见于百科全书，以条目释文为主，或配以插图，内容简要并具有权威性，语言平实、简洁、严谨，陈述客观事实，不带有感彩。第二部分是旅游宣传册，介绍了秘鲁四条不同特色的旅行路线。该文本结构清晰，主干部分由小标题引领四条线路，配有丰富的图片和精美的设计，在视觉上给人很强的冲击。旅游宣传册是日常生活中常见材料，主要有三种功能。一是 informative function, 向读者介绍目的地的基本信息，描述其基本特点。二是 expressive function，使用富有感染力的语言表现作者的态度、观点等。例如文本用 admire the architecture、enjoy the excellent local food、especially amazing等语言描述的事物会给学生留下深刻的印象。三是 appellative function, 这是旅游宣传册的最终目的，通过拉近与读者的关系，激发读者的共鸣，吸引读者加入旅行。同时该文本使用了祈使句以及第二人称 you作主语的句子，使读者有身临其境的感觉。该板块重点在于引导学生掌握介绍性文本和旅游宣传册的结构特征，文本特征以及语言特点，了解秘鲁旅游资源以及文化特色，形成个人见解。
教学目标与核心素养：

2. Enable students to sum up some details related to Peru.
3. Develop students’ sense of cooperative learning and individual thinking capability.
4. Develop students’ different learning skills to solve different reading comprehensive problems, such as skimming, scanning and inferring.

课后反思
整节课下来，基本上完成了教学目标。但是还是有一些遗憾的地方。时间安排上，起初因为担心学生理解不了文本内容，考虑到一些学生基础较弱，前面用的时间太多了，以至于后面有点赶。教学环节有些地方衔接过渡不太顺畅，学生的积极性没有充分调动和展示，最后留给学生展示的时间有点少。另外，录课室设备出现故障，未能播放走进秘鲁视频，学生不能欣赏秘鲁的风土人情。
