资源简介 U3 The world onlineWelcome to the unit 教案教材分析:单元导入呈现的是三段互联网相关产品的介绍,其中包括开发历史,产品功能等。通过文本激发学生的学习兴趣,拓展学生们的知识面。通过讲解名人名言及从文本延伸出讨论内容,激活学生已知的网络产品类型及背景知识,并通过拓展问题的讨论增加学生对网络世界的感知。教学策略与设计说明:采用任务型教学法(Task-based language teaching),布置活动任务,设置活动目的,引导学生完成相关任务,达成各教学步骤设计目的。教学目标:在本课学习结束时,学生能够:语言能力上,通过语篇阅读任务,锻炼学生获取信息技巧,积极讨论语篇内容,提高学生口语表达能力。思维品质上,拓展学生对于网络的认知,激活学生已知信息,辩证思考网络对于生活的帮助。文化品格上,通过总结已知的网络信息,增强学生对于世界的反思。学习能力上,懂得运用文本信息,习得描述网络产品的内容,提高语言能力。教学重点:激活学生已知信息,引起学生对于本单元内容的兴趣。教学难点:活跃课堂氛围,引导学生获得文本中的信息点,初步了解网络的构成和主题。教学资源:教材、多媒体课件、黑板与粉笔。教学过程:步骤 教学活动 设计意图 时间与模式Step 1 Lead in: The teacher gets students involved in the learning mood by asking the following questions related to the Internet and their daily life by showing different pictures. 1. What kinds of things you need to bring out with you all the time [The teacher can encourage them to describe what they cannot leave, and lead them to think of smart phone.] 2. Why do we use smart phone frequently [T uses the question to think about why smart phone is extremely important. The answer is Internet] Then, T asks Ss to consider what internet is. After discussion, T plays a short video containing street interview and explanation from Vint (co-created). 利用生活场景,创设互动情境,拉近沟通距离,激发学习兴趣的同时,开发话题资源,为单元学习做好准备。 8’ CW/GWStep 2 Discussion: T asks a question: Do you have easy access to the Internet If so, how do you often access it for make Ss reconsider the convenience of using Internet. Next, Ss need to answer: What do you usually do on the Internet for leading in the subject “WEB”. 通过讨论问题,引导学生思考网络便利性,引出主题词“web”为后续名言做铺垫。 5’ GWStep 3 Welcome to the unit T shows a proverb from Tim Berners Lee and asks Ss: How do you feel about the saying Alternatively, T can highlight “Net”, “barriers” and “culture” for asking Ss to thinking what they represent. Then, T introduces Tim Berners Lee and highlights WWW for leading Ss to think what it is. Next, T can play a short video to describe WWW. 理解名言背后的中心思想,开发学生对主题的认识和见解,讲解名人事迹,拓展思维意识。 10’ CWStep 4 Welcome to the unit: The teacher draws students’ attention to the first sentence “There are many important milestones in the development of the Internet,” and lets students focus on the word “milestones”. Students share their understanding of the word “milestone”. The teacher has students think, “When we speak of important milestones in the development of the Internet, what can you think of ” Students discuss in groups and share their ideas about some milestones in the development of the Internet. Then Ss need to predict the contents of three paragraphs after looking at three picture and knowing what they are.
