教材分析:
本课时主要锻炼学生的听力和阅读理解等语言能力。该部分教材内容介绍了科学节的要求、目的和活动设计,听力和阅读练习锻炼学生获取关键信息的能力并习得听力笔记方法。教学中注重语言的运用,采用任务型教学法,自主学习与合作学习相结合的学习法,扩大课堂的语言输入量及学生的语言输出量。

Step-1 Lead-in: T plays a short video and asks a question: what is it At the same time, T reminds Ss to focus on the activities showing in the video. Then T tell the answer: science festive. Then, T asks a question: What do you expect to see at school science festival for reviewing activities and arousing Ss’ interests. Finally, T starts the topic of this lesson. 播放视频,导入本节课主题“校园科学节”,引起兴趣,为后续的听力任务做铺垫。 5’ IW/CW
Step 2 Listening A1: Firstly, T leads Ss to predict the contents of listening material. Then, T guides Ss to highlight key words and possible importance separately. T analyses the way of listening step by step. Step 1: highlight the key words in each sentence. Step 2: listen to recordings (focus on question order) Then plays the recording and check the answer. Next, T helps Ss understand the structure of notice and remind what kinds of things we need to plan and understand for science festival. 通过教授听力题型的特点,提高学生捕捉和判断信息的学习能力,梳理听力文本,了解科学节计划内容。 10' CW/IW
Step 3 Listening A2: T makes Ss to observe the note-taking task and asks: What difficulties may you have for the task T shows the possible answer on the slide and leads in the note-taking skill. Next, T teaches the skills of note-taking, and provide examples for each skill. Then, if possible, T can predict the question task with Ss. T plays the recording, and shows a sample note. Step 4 Discussion: For leading in the following reading, T asks: Do you have any ideas to hold the school Science Festival Ss gives some brief ideas and then read the news report. 通过讨论问题,总结听力内容,引入阅读主题。 5’ CW
Step 5 Reading: T makes Ss read the title, then asks leading questions: What is the report about What’s the result of the festival Next, Ss need to fill in the table on the book. T checks the answers. Then, T analyses each paragraph, and mark the structure and key info. 阅读新闻语篇,结合新知,分析文本内容及结构,提高学生语言能力。 10’ IW/CW
Step 6 Discussion: After reading the news report, if you were the student of the school, would you enjoy the festival Do you have any suggestions to improve it 运用新知,引发学生对本课时内容进行总结评价,调动综合语言能力,提高思维品质,为下课时输出语言做准备。 5’ GW
