In Germany, being on time is risky (有风险的) enough because your hosts will probably already be there waiting, wondering how on earth (竟) you could be so stupid. What will you do if anything unexpected happens, like heavy traffic or a sudden rain So, remember to arrive early in Germany.

So don’t get angry with them, either.

Education is not just about going to school. It’s also about what you learn and experience outside of school. So family and community play a great role.
In January, 13 agencies (部门)—including the Ministry of Education—released a guideline to improve the school-family-community cooperative education mechanism (学校家庭社会协同育人机制). It clarifies the roles and responsibilities of school, family and community and how they work together to educate children.
“The goal of the guideline is to give full play to the advantages of each party and promote the all-round development of students.” Zhang Zhiyong, a professor at Beijing Normal University, told China Education Daily.
According to the guideline, schools play a leading role in cooperative education. They should keep close contact with parents. Paying a home visit and offering family education guidance regularly are made a must. Parents should play a role in family education. The community is expected to provide support and service to students. All kinds of education bases and museums, for example, should be free or preferential (优惠的) to students.
Gao Wei, 43, a mother of a 14-year-old from Beijing, is excited about the guideline. “Strengthening (加强) the connection between the school and parents is not a new thing. 【答案】
How time flies! What great changes we have had!
I used to be shy, but now I’m more outgoing. Because all my classmates are very easy-going, and we often play together. Besides, I wasn’t good at English at first. When my English teacher learned about that, she taught me how to memorize new words and read as many passages as possible. Soon I made great progress and became interested in English.
As it is the last term of junior high school, I plan to review notes. And when I’m free, I will also do some sports to build up my body.

Nowadays, many people in China are racing against time. They put a lot of value in “being on time” because they think it is important to be on time. However, in some other countries of the world, people have different opinions on “being on time”
Germany
Thanks to its industrial (工业的) past, in Germany you are expected to arrive at least ten minutes earlier for any planned meeting.
In Germany, being on time is risky (有风险的) enough because your hosts will probably already be there waiting, wondering how on earth (竟) you could be so stupid. What will you do if anything unexpected happens, like heavy traffic or a sudden rain So, remember to arrive early in Germany.
Saudi Arabia
Some countries care little about time and Saudi Arabia is one of them, It’s because of their long history of desert living where time is not the first thing to think about. It could be that it’s too hot to do anything on time. So don’t expect them to be on time. Moreover, looking at your watch during an event is even considered as bad manners. So don’t get angry with them, either.
Ghana
Most meeting times can be changed, even if an exact time is given, Ghanaians are very relaxed and easygoing. They think that if everyone is late, then no one is late. After all, what can’t be done today can get done tomorrow. If you find it difficult to deal with, prepare to be unhappy. Otherwise, sit back to enjoy the ride.

Besides traditional education, they are encouraged to lead their kids to take part in activities like volunteering and doing sports.
But the guideline tells us how to make it happen,” she said. “Another good point is that it asks the community to open more social resources to students. Nowadays, many students only focus on studying. With such support, they can learn more from real life.”
28. What is the purpose of the guideline
A. To reduce the burden on students from homework.
B. To promote the all-round development of students.
C. To benefit children’s healthy growth.
