One of the most popular street food found in China is no doubt the barbecue. A new series,
called Chinese Barbecue, tells the story of this popular food cooked over hot coals on just about
every street corner in cities and towns across the country. Barbecued meat is an important part of
people’s nightlife.
Shown on June 20, the series has had more than 80 million clicks on the video site .
To find the most popular barbecue stalls (摊位), the production team travelled to more than 500
locations in 30 cities across the country. Some viewers compare Chinese Barbecue to Midnight
Diner, a Japanese TV series telling stories from late-night informal Japanese bars.
“I’m happy to hear this comparison because Midnight Diner is a good program, and we share
the same topic — night food,” Chinese Barbecue’s director Chen Yingjie said. “However, in terms
of the tone, they are quite different.” He said that Midnight Diner focused more on food itself,

When running through an airport, your luggage becomes a burden for you. A new ride-on
suitcase called the Airwheel, currently seeking funding on Kickstarter, can let your luggage carry
you around for a change.

Companies like Trunki have been making ride-on suitcases for kids for years, and later
involved in adapting them for adults too. And the appeal of the idea is hard to deny—who wouldn’t
want to slide to their terminal (航站楼) on top of their luggage, rather than trying to carry it while

The Airwheel is designed to make it come true, equipping an electric motor, rechargable battery
and a steering (操控) device just like the motorbike handlebars. The accelerator and brake take the
form of buttons on the handle, and the 4-in(10-cm) wheels are apparently tough enough to run over
rocky roads and cracks. The outer frame is strong enough to support riders weighing up to 130 kg.
At max speed the case can get up to 10 km/h, and the battery will last one hour at that speed.
The company says that not only is this faster than other ride-on suitcases, but the more upright
sitting position is more comfortable and natural than the bent-over posture of others, which is the
riders’ big hit.
For a touch of customization (定制), the Airwheel connects to an app which lets users set up
colors and patterns of lights. There’s also a search mode to help you find it on a luggage
transfer-belt. That said, making the suitcase transparent is a bit of a unique design choice. Your
customized suitcase will draw your attention easily.
The Airwheel has already passed its goal on Kickstarter, with 44 days remaining on the
campaign. If all goes to plan, shipping should begin in February 2024.

A study of 500，000 songs released（发行）in the UK between 1985 and 2015 showed that pop
music has decreased in happiness and increased in sadness．
In a report published in the journal Royal Society Open Science，researchers at the University
of California examined hundreds of thousands of songs and classified them by their
mood．"‘Happiness’is going down，‘sadness’ is going up，and at the same time，the songs are
becoming more ‘danceable’ and more ‘party-like ， ’"co-author Natalia L ． Komarova told The

and "Unmissable" by Gorgon City to have a "low happiness" trend．However，tracks from 1985 like

Wham had a high "happiness" trend．"The public seems to prefer happier songs，even though more
and more unhappy songs are being released each year，" the researchers wrote．
Apart from the emotional trends，researchers discovered that dance and pop were the most
successful styles of music and that there was a "clear downward trend"，with the popularity of rock
beginning in the early 2000s．"So it looks like，while the overall mood is becoming less happy，
people seem to want to forget it all and dance，" Komarova wrote in an email．
It was also found that the "maleness" of songs——the frequency of male singers in popular
music——had decreased during the last 30 years "Successful songs are characterized by a larger
percentage of female artists compared to all songs，"they Wrote．
This discovery appears at a time when the conversation around sex equality in the music

Skipping Meals
Our class conducted a survey entitled “How often meals are skipped”. The results of the survey show that the percentage of students who skip meals several times a week is 50%.
Some students are keen to eat snacks, skipping regular meals, which does great harm to their health, and even their study, while other students may not have access to a healthy meal due to their busy schedules or lack of access to healthy food options.
As far as I am concerned, providing healthy meal options can help reduce the harmful impact of skipping meals and provide students with the nutrition they need. Secondly, it’s important to carve out time for meals by making small adjustments in our schedule or prioritizing breakfast or lunch over other activities.

You have a big heart.” Daniel smiled and felt a sense of accomplishment wash over him. He knew that even though he had planned to explore that day, helping the bird had been even more important.
