Andyfan 1-17-2005 2: 45p. m. Some people say Jacky is the best Chinese singer. I don't think so! Andy is the best. I went to his concert last year. It was so hard to believe, I almost cried! OK, I did cry, but that's because Andy is so handsome!

The problem is that the people in Jean’s family are so busy that they can hardly find time to be with her. In fact, Jean is quite lonely.
So Jean spends a lot of time on her QQ. She likes being anonymous(匿名), talking to people who do not know about her famous family and her rich life. She uses the name Linda on QQ and has made a lot of friends whom she keeps in touch with quite often.
Last year Jean made a very special friend on QQ. His name was David and lived in San Francisco. David was full of stories and jokes. He and Jean had a common interest in rock music and modern dance. So it always took them hours to talk happily on QQ and sometimes they even forgot their time. Of course, they wanted to know more about each other. David sent her a picture of himself: He was a tall, good-looking young man with a big, happy smile. As time went by, they became good friends and often sent cards and small things to each other.
When Jean's father told her that he was going on a business trip to San Francisco, she asked him to let her go with him so that she could give David a surprise for his birthday. “If you want to see a thing well, reach out and touch it!” That may seem a strange thing to say. But touching things can help you to see them better. Your eyes can tell you that a glass ball is round. But by holding it in your hands, you can feel how smooth and cool the ball is. You can feel how heavy the glass is. When you feel all these about the ball, you really see it. With your skin(皮肤), you can feel better. For example, your fingers can tell the difference between two coins in your pocket. You can feel a little drop of water on the back of your hand, too.
All children soon learn what “Don’t touch!” means. They hear it often. Yet most of us keep on touching things as we grow up. In shops, we touch things we might buy: food, clothes. To see something well, we have to touch it.
There are ways of learning to see well by feeling. One way is to close your eyes and try to feel everything that is touching your skin. Feel the shoes on your feet, the clothes on your body, the air on your skin. At first, it is not easy to feel these things. You are too used to them!
Most museums are just for looking. But today some museums have some things to touch. Their signs say, “Do touch!” There you can feel everything on show. If you want to see better, reach out and touch. Then you will really see!
62. By touching things you _____________.
A. will have a strange feeling B. will learn how to reach out your hand
C. can tell the difference of the things D. can tell what colors they are
63. Why does it say “At first, it is not easy to feel these things” Because ___________.
A. people use these things, too B. people are too used to the things
C. people know how to use the things D. the things are easy to feel
64. Which of the following is TRUE ___________.
A. Touching is more important than seeing.
B. Our feet, fingers, hands and skin can help us buy food.
C. People have to learn to see by feeling as they grow up.
D. Visitors can feel the things on show in some museums.
65. Which of the following can be the best title of the passage
A. Touching by Feeling B. To See or Feel
C. To See Better-Feel D. Ways of Feeling
D
In some Western countries, many children do chores to get pocket money. 66 School students have to do homework and study for tests. They don’t have much free time on weekdays. 67 Young kids only do easy chores. So they don’t get much money. But that’s enough. Many of them only want to buy candy. 68 They often help do the dishes, sweep the floor, or feed the pet cat or dog.
When they get older, they need more money to buy more expensive things. 69 They often help their parents wash the family car, cut the grass, or cook meals.
70 For example, they can learn how to use a lawn mower(割草机)or how to cook. Of course, their parents help them at first.
