语篇分析 What: 本课时是本单元的第二课时，主要围绕着子任务“描述动物的具体特征”而展开，教材通过Miss White ，John，Mike和陈洁参观动物园看大象和骆驼的情景引出本课时的重点句式和词汇。再通过与身体部位形容相关的指令性TPR活动巩固词汇。Why: 教材结合图片、听力和视频观看活动了解语篇内容，学生能够运用本节课的核心语言It has （a）…描述动物的具体特征，引导学生认识到动物的可爱之处，把动物当成自己的朋友进行相处。How: 本课词汇涉及描述身体部位的形容词：small、big、short、long;交流身体部位时所使用的核心语言“It has a +身体部位.”学生在A部分已经学掌握描述动物外形的句子“It’s+形容词.”,在该部分学习时教师应和A部分学习的句型对比，帮助学生理解其含义。该部分的词汇比较简单，易于理解，具有现实意义和教育意义。这一部分的难点是long的发音，教师要做正音练习。
教学目标教学重点、难点 学习理解：学生能听、说、认读单词：small、big、short、long，并理解Let’s do 中的内容。应用实践：学生能在图片、实物或情境的帮助下运用句型“It has a +身体部位.”描述动物的身体部位并根据Let’s do中的指令做动作。迁移创新：引导学生小组内交流讨论用I have介绍自己的身体部位，并向全班汇报交流。

设计意图：本阶段学习活动旨在帮学生在语境中理解学习内容，学习核心词汇和核心语言。学生在教师的指导下看图预测对话内容，在跟读模仿中模仿正确的语音语调，内化语言，为语言输出奠定基础。

设计意图：本阶段的教学活动旨在帮助学生内化语言知识，将所学知识运用到实际中，从学习理解过渡到运用实践，为后面的迁移创新有了真实的感受和体验。
