教学重点: 1. lead students to master the skills to predict the listening content and define new words in the listening process;
2. Enable students to discuss the online habits by using the useful sentence patterns and expressions in the listening text. 教学难点: 1.how to make students have a good command of the useful sentence patterns and expressions.
2. How to lead students to reflect on their online habits.
教学过程
Teaching procedures: Section 1: Lead-in
teacher greet the students and show them the objectives of this class. At the end of the class, you will be able to 1. understand the content and structure of a survey about online habits; 2. master the skills to predict the listening content and define new words in the listening process; 3. discuss the online habits by using the useful sentence patterns and expressions in the listening text. Section 2: Opening-page The teacher asks students to pay attention to the opening-page, and ask them to describe the picture and paraphrase the quote. Section 3: Pre-reading Activity 1: The teacher asks students to look at the online activities in the box and match them with the pictures. Activity 2: Sam is doing a survey on online habits. He is now talking to his schoolmates Anna, Paul and Joe. Listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks. Section 4: While-reading The teacher asks students to listen to the conversation and fill in the blanks. Section 5: post-reading The teacher asks students to take Turns to ask each other about your online habits. Section 6: Pronunciation The teacher asks students to read the poem about online safety and mark the words that should be stressed. Section 7:assignment 1. Do a survey —investigate your friend’s online habits and share your opinion. 2. Write a report —call on people to use the Internet properly according to your survey.
