A warm shower helps you relax, and then after it warms you up, your core(核心)body temperature drops. This encourages you to fall asleep more quickly and sleep more soundly.
A study in 2019 said that a water temperature of 40℃ to 42. 4℃ produces the best-quality(最优质的)sleep. After people lie down, most of them take about 20 minutes to fall asleep. However, if you have a shower one to two hours before going to bed, you will fall asleep 10 minutes earlier.

German scientists have recently found microplastics (微塑料) in Arctic snow. Microplastics are pieces of plastic that are smaller than 5 millimeters (毫米) in length. They’re found not only in our air, but in our water. They end up in our wastewater when we use washing machines to wash clothes with plastic fibers (塑料纤维). The scientists found 1,800 pieces of microplastics per liter of Arctic snow.
How do microplastics travel so far According to scientists, they fall off plastic objects and are moved by the wind, just like dust. They mix with ice in the air and fall to the ground as snow.
Finding these plastics in Arctic snow means that we may breathe them in our air. There are even more of these plastics in the snow around cities.
Are they bad for us Scientists cannot answer this question for now, according to the World Health Organization. We all know that our bodies can’t take in big pieces of microplastic. But if the plastics are small enough, they can find ways into our bodies and stay there for a long time. This can be bad for our health.

(2024·安徽·一模)Green is more than just a color. It also means taking special steps to protect the environment. How to decide whether a product is green Here is what we may keep in mind.
The materials of a product are usually our first focus. Green products are made of more natural materials which are free from harmful chemicals, so they can be good for our physical health.
Packaging is important. We’d better choose glass, metal and paper packaging, as these can be reused or more easily recycled. We can also look for less packaging or even choose unbagged products whenever possible.
Location (地点) matters. Think about how much energy was used to get it. To us, try to choose local products. When it comes to food, it is a good idea to order directly from local farmer, shop at markets and buy fruits in season.
Look into what the company tells us about their product. It’s easy to say that a product is “green” or “all natural”, but the words may be too good to be true. So, much of the information about a product should be taken with a grain of salt.
Better than buying is choosing to leave an unnecessary product in the store. It sends a message to the producer, keeps money in our pockets, reduces waste and keeps the planet healthy.

A.They look green.
B.They are healthy.

It’s like when your friend gives you a pen as you search your pockets, or when a classmate leaves his seat to help you pick up your book as it falls onto the floor. Researchers say these small acts of kindness are common and are found in all cultures.
The study found that people usually agreed to the requests (请求) and were happy to help others they knew. However, it did not focus on kindness between strangers.
Helping others is a general part of human nature. The researchers studied videos of more than 350 people in Australia, Ecuador, Ghana, Italy, Laos, Poland, Russia and the United Kingdom. They tried to answer the question: Does kindness come mainly from different cultural traditions, or does it come from common human action Earlier studies of kindness usually focused on cultural traditions, such as Indonesian whale hunters (捕鲸人) sharing their meat or rich Kenyans paying for village roads. To make the farm’s facial recognition system work, more than 1,000 goats have been chipped (安装芯片) so far.

Because of a cold market, the stove once faced the difficult y of having no one to learn its skill. With the development of the local tour, it got people’s attention again. Seven years ago, Tong returned to his hometown and planned to pass down this craft (手工艺).
“I can’t let our old craft end in us. I want to do something more.” Tong said.
The process of making a fubang stove is hard, including tens of steps. Tong told reporters that the stoves look very nice and people can use them long.
