Unit 7单元备课
一、内容分析 本单元的核心话题为“talk about what you used to be like”,围绕着谈论过去自己和他人过去经常做的事,谈论自己和他人过去的外貌\性格\爱好,以观察图片、听力理解、阅读理解等训练方式和独立学习、合作交流、完成任务等形式完成目标语言的输入,学习句型used to 为主要学习任务,并且设置任务型综合性语言实践活动,让学生在交际活动中,学会如何正确地用英语表达自己的意见和建议,重在培养学生的习得语言运用能力、实践能力、合作能力及创新意识。
二、学生情况分析 在学习本单元之前,已经学习过了一些描写人物外貌的词汇和句型。对于本单元的学习,大部分学生已经有了一定的学习基础, 但由于学生自觉性差,很少能够自觉做好课前预习和课后复习,所以课前让他们去回顾所学的旧内容。
三、 教学目标 一)知识目标 (1)复习已经学过的有关描述人物外貌和性格词汇: short / long / straight / curly thin / of medium build / heavy tall / of medium height / short friendly / quiet/ active outgoing / silent/ funny / serious/ shy (2)熟练掌握 下句型: A: Did Mario use to be short B: Yes, he did. He used to be really short. A: What’s he like now B: He’s tall now. (二)能力目标 1)依托本单元的语言素材提高学生听、说、读、写及自学、创新和沟通能力。熟练掌握“used to” 句型,培养学生运用语言的能力。 2)培养学生善于听说、乐于听说的良好习惯和学习能力。 3)运用PPT和课本插图,充分调动学生的感官,培养观察力和注意力。 4)在表演中培养学生乐于表达的人际交往能力和知识创新能力。 2. 德育目标 让学生明白事物是在不断发展、变化的道理,培养学生积极向上的心态。
四、教学重、难点 1. 教学重点: 学会描述自己或他人过去常常做的事情基本句型: I used to 2)发现自己或他人在外表、性格、兴趣等方面所发生的变化。 2. 教学难点: used to do/be 句型
五、重、难点突破方法 1.做好语境的创设和铺垫。 2.利用话题思维导图进行单元整合。 3.利用典型的训练让学生抓住问题关键,学会对比和分析。
六、课时划分 共用 8 课时
七、作业 必做作业:课本、练习册相关题目。 选做作业:3a的文章背诵。 探究实践性作业:Mary在学校参加了一个party从那以后她改变了很多,根据提示写出改变。
