一、 学习目标
在本节课结束的时候,同学们能够:
通过阅读,获取有关茶的发明的基本信息;
借助不同阅读策略的灵活运用对语篇内容进行研读,分析语篇文本主题、文本结构、文本特征、主旨大意及文章内容;
在贯穿整节课“为茶代言”的活动,借助关键词、图片、时间轴等提示介绍茶的发明及传播,体验中国茶文化的魅力。
二、教学重难点
(一)教学重点:
了解我国茶的发展及传播的简要历史、熟悉茶文化。
能运用阅读策略获取茶被发现的细节信息,能借助思维导图了解我国茶叶发明及其传播的历史。
(二)教学难点:
能运用本单元的词汇、句式及被动语态谈论茶发明,能够表达与发明有关的观点和看法。
能体会认知“茶”文化的多重内涵,体会发明创造能力是源于对生活的热爱
三. 教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
Free talk:Show some pictures of tea to the students, and talk about what they know about tea.
The purpose is to arouse the students’ interest, promote students to learn from each other and use the language in the real context
Step 2 Prediction
Show the title and the picture to the students, let them predict what the passage is about and how tea was invented.
The purpose is to help students get to know the main idea of the passage through the title and the picture and provide some necessary background knowledge.
Step 3 Read and understand Activity 1 read and match
Ask the students to read the passage quickly and match the paragraph with its main idea.
The purpose is to train students to grasp the main ideas by skimming. Activity 2,3 read and find out detailed information about Lu Yu, Sheng Nong and the book Cha Jing.
The purpose is to search for a clue to the connection between the two persons in the text to develop students’ logical thinking, present a clear mind map about Cha Jing to students and consolidate the use of passive voice in the text
Activity 4 tell the story
The purpose is to tell the story with the help of the picture and key words and help students perceive the structure through the five-finger chart .
Activity 5 To be a tea spreader for the Silk Road Program
The purpose is help students to use the language in the real context.
Activity 6 Read and think
Why do Chinese best understand the nature of tea
The purpose is to lead the students to conclude Chinese people play an important role in inventions. As Chinese, we should respect the history and be proud of our country.
Step 4 Watch and think
Watch a video, and think what’s the nature of tea Discuss and answer the questions
What do you think of Shen Nong and Lu Yu
What is the influence of the tea trade
The purpose is to develop more advanced way of thinking habits. The spirit of Chinese sets a good example for us, which can cultivate the students’ positive emotions.
Step 5 Finish the evaluation chart
The purpose is to provide a self-evaluation chart to help students have a self check.
Step 6 Homework
There are compulsory and optional homework. The purpose is to review what they learned and encourage students to expand their knowledge with different and effective ways. Here are the works from my students.
四、教学反思
The highlights:
Real contexts are created for students to practice the target language.
Grammar learning is processed wisely. Students have to identify the grammar structure in the text instead of just remembering grammar rules automatically.
However, there are still some aspects needed to be improved.
Try to get more students involved in activities.
Encourage students to design their own questions based on the
text.
