计量的表达方法可以是：
基数词+度量词(单/复数)+形容词(high/old/long/wide/tall/deep/
thick等)。
比较级用于比较两个主体，之后可用than引出比较的对象
“比较级+than any other+名词+其他”
表示“比其他任何一个……都……”
该结构可与“the+最高级+其他”相互转换
形容词和副词的比较级和最高级
大多数形容词和副词都有三个级
1) 同级比较: 基本结构as ... as ... “和..….一样”
Zhang Hong is as tall as Tom.
张红和汤姆一样高。
2) 比较级 (用于两者之间的比较)，基本结构：比较级＋than ...
He is taller than I.
他比我高。
另: 比较级前可用much, a little, a lot, even等修饰，
The girl sang even worse this time than usual.
3) 最高级(用于三者或三者以上的比较)，基本结构: the + 最高级 + of / in ...
1) He is the tallest of the three.
他是这三个人中最高的。
2) He is the funniest in his class.
他是他们班最有趣的。
在含有最高级的句子中，常有一个in/of短语来表示比较范围。
①规则变化：
单音节和部分双音节词 一般在词尾加____ tall→taller
long→longer
fine→finer

big→big___
thin→thin____
easy→eas____
friendly→ friendl____

比较级构成
重读闭音节词且词尾只有一个辅音字母，双写辅音字母再加-er
以“辅音字母 + y”结尾的双音节词，先把“y”改为“i”再加-er
以不发音字母e结尾的词，在词尾加___

多音节词和部分双音节词的比较级需要在其前加______构成。

注意事项
形容词和副词的比较级前可以用 much (very much, too much), even, far, a little, a lot等词语修饰，以示加强语气。
1) He is getting (too) much fatter these days.
2) It was cold yesterday, but it’s even colder today.
3) There was a number of people out this afternoon, far more than last Sunday.
4) Are you feeling a lot better today
5) He was a little more worried than the others.
形容词和副词的比较等级的常用结构
1. “比较级+ than any other +名词+其他”
表示“比其他任何一个……都……”。该结构可与“the+最高级+其他”相互转换
The bag is cheaper than any other bag in the store.
=The bag is the cheapest in the store.
2. “比较级 + and + 比较级”表示“越来
越……”
The earth is getting warmer and warmer.
地球变得越来越暖和。
3. “the + 比较级, the + 比较级”表示
“越……，就越……”
The more you practice, the better you’ll play the piano.
4. “the + 比较级 + of the two”表示“两者之中更……的那一个”
Susan is the taller of the two girls.
5. “数词 + times + 比较级 + than”表示
“……是……的几倍”
The elephant weighs ten times more
than the panda.
6. “one of the + 形容词最高级 + 复数名词”意为“最……之一”
It is one of the best theaters in our town.
7. “the + 序数词 + 最高级 + 单数名词 + in …”表示“是……中的第几……”
The Yellow River is the second longest
river in China.
1) The Sahara is the biggest desert in the world.
