【语法解析】日期的表达有直接表达和间接表达，
一种是“the 序数词 of 月份”，
一种是“月份 the 序数词”。

【语法解析】(1) What date is it today =What’s the date today 用于询问日期，意为今天几号。
答句结构为: It’s ＋the+ 日期(序数词) ＋of ＋月份
(2) When’s…用于询问在何时，意为何时是…
答句结构为：It’s ＋on ＋the +日期(序数词) ＋of ＋月份

知识点4：
句式What do you usually do on your birthday
【语法解析】(1) 第一个do是助动词，本身没有词义，不可单独作谓语，只能和别的动词
一起构成谓语，表示疑问、否定等。第三人称单数形式为does,过去式为did。
(2) 第二个do是实意动词，在这里表示“做（某事）、干（某事）”。
【eg1】What can you do 你可以做什么？
【eg2】When do you do your homework 你什么时候做你的家庭作业？

【语法解析】
(1) the cat 是Kitty的同位语，对前者做进一步解释。

区别与 play+球类，play the+乐器。
