I was reading books.
My parents were cooking lunch.
Yuan Longping spend all his life helping farmers grow rice.
He is such a great hero that we will remember him forever.
People often remember what they were doing when they heard the news of important news in history.An important event that I remember well was that the great man Yuan Longping passed away in Changsha on May22,2021.
When I heard the news,I was reading books while my parents were making lunch. We were completely shocked and thought it was unbelievable. Later, we saw the report on the Internet. All of us felt very sad and finished the rest of lunch in silence. On hearing the news, hundreds of people came to the hospital in Changsha to see him off and cried.
As we all know,Yuan Longping spent all his life helping farmers grow rice, he is such a great hero that we will remember him forever.
As a teenager, I will pass on his spirit and try my best to build our country.

We felt scared and we had to stay at home until the virus went away.
An important event that I remember well was the lockdown of the county of Zigui. It happened at 12 o’clock in the midnight on Spring Festival in 2020.
When I heard the news of this event, I was watching Spring Gala with my family，we all felt scared and realized how dangerous it is! We were in silent for a long time after hearing the news. I called my friend Lucy. She was sleeping at that time, after hearing the news， she was completely shocked!
This event is very unforgettable for everybody because many people were losing their lives and we can’t spend Spring Festival as usual. I remember this event well because we had to stay at home all the time until the virus went away. Chinese people were working together to fight against the virus and it brought our Chinese people closer together.
