Show the topic and the teaching aims of this lesson. Help the students put their thinking into the course of study. 2.Revision and lead- in. Ask the students to listen a song named “color song” to review some colors. Ask students read after the teacher to let students bear in mind these colors. 3.To review these colors, let students play a game about coloring the number to the target color. And then ask students what color do they like best by using the structure “What color do you like best” and “I like… best”. During this part, students will review the colors they had learnt before. 1. Greet the teacher. 2. Watch the radio and listen the song. Review something about colors. And read after the teacher to remember these colors. Ss: Black, white, red, green, brown, purple, yellow, blue. 3. (1) And then play a game to strengthen the consolidation of these points. Listening (5分钟) 1.Before listening, let students look at the pictures in 2b carefully, and describe what they see. 2. Ask the students to listen to the conversations in 2b (P38) and circle the things they hear. Play the recording for the first time. Listen carefully and circle the things you hear. Play the recording again to check the answers. 3. Ask the students to listen to the conversations in 2c (P38) and fill in the price tags. Culture (3分钟) 1. Talk about the topic-shopping. Tell students about Black Friday. 2.That's like Singles Day here in China. Also December 12th and June 18th have huge online sales too. But in other countries, for example, in America, they have Black Friday as a big shopping day. Role-play (5分钟) 1.T: This is my fashion shop store. Student A is a shop assistant, and student B is a customer. How to tell each other about what you want to buy Give some shopping sentence forms to students to help them. 2.Students should practice the conversation with his/her partner. Then let some pairs role-play the conversation in front of the class. Practice the conversation with their partner. Then role-play the conversation in front of the class.Step6.
