宾语从句

一、概念：在句中起到宾语作用的从句叫做宾语从句。
二、引导词
that引导
(1) 当宾语从句为陈述句时，从句是由that 引导的。（ that 在口语或非正式文体中可省略）
① I think (that) the girl is beautiful.
② I guess (that) she will become popular.
（2）否定前移
I think (that) the girl is beautiful.
I think (that) the girl isn’t beautiful. ( F )
I don’t think (that)the girl is a teacher. (T )
在think, guess, suppose, believe等动词后面的宾语从句表示否定时，否定前移
whether/if引导
(1) 当宾语从句为一般疑问句时，从句是由whether 或if引导。（whether或if 不可省 ）
① I’m not sure whether /if she will become popular.
② I don’t know whether/if it’s polite to speak loudly at the table.
whether 或if引导宾语从句的区别
只用whether 情况
① whether…or not
Do you know whether or not it’s impolite to smoke in public
② 放于句首
I can’t say whether this is true or not.
= Whether this is true or not, I can’t say.
③ 介词之后
I’m interested in whether she likes English.
④ 不定式之前
She asked me whether to start early.
注：if为“如果，假如”引导条件状语从句
He is going to Beijing if it doesn’t rain tomorrow.
特殊疑问词引导
当宾语从句为特殊疑问句时，从句是由特殊疑问词或词组引导。
特殊疑问词/词组不能省
特殊疑问词：when/where /who/what /how/why ...
常见的特殊疑问词组：How often; How soon; How long ;How many; How much ; What time；What color...
三、语序
Can you tell me Who are you waiting for
从句为（陈述语序）
Can you tell me who you are waiting for
Can you tell me where you bought it
I don’t know what the brand is.
注意1：(特殊疑问词 )做主语
Can you tell me who broke the window
Can you tell me who bought the book
注意2：当从句为 what’ s wrong (with you )/what’s the matter 时, ( 语序)不变
四、时态
1. 主现从任
①I don’t know what the teacher said yesterday.
②I think that you can ask teacher for help.
③I believe that you will pass the exam.
主过从过
My mother asked me what the result was.
I didn’t know whether my answer was correct.
注1：could ①can 的过去式
②委婉语气
在宾语从句中主句有could，一般表示委婉, 符合主现从随
Could you tell me where you____(go/went) yesterday.
注2：真理永现
老师告诉我们地球围绕着太阳转。
