sth. + happened + 地点/时间，表示某地/某时发生了某事 ，此时主语是物。
如：The story happened in 1912.

1） a little bit 常用来修饰形容词或副词及其比较级，相当于 a little, a bit 或 kind of 。

instead 副词 位于句首或句末, 作状语修饰整个句子。

weak形容词，在此句中意为“虚弱的；无力的”。其名词形式是weakness，意为“虚弱；弱点；懦弱”。其反义词是strong。
【拓展】
(1) weak作形容词时，还可意为“不擅长；（能力）弱的”。 be weak in意为“在某方面弱；不擅长”，反义词组是be good at/do well in。
(2) the weak意为“弱者”，相当于the weak people。在英语中“the+形容词”结构，可以表示“某一类人”。
