They know how to describe the tense simply, but they still have difficulty in using this tense to speak well by looking at the pictures in the oral English test. Besides, they show great interest in English. 教材分析: This lesson is the listening and speaking part of Section A. 【What】The conversations are talking about what people are doing. 【Why】Students can use these key words and sentences to talk about what people are doing in daily life. 【How】Students can extract key information from the recording by locating key words.核心素养目标 通过本节的学习,学生能够: 1.Language ability: (1) Students are able to master the following words and phrases: newspaper, soup, exercising, making soup, reading a newspaper, using the computer, washing the dishes, listening to a CD, talking on the phone. T shows Ss a video and asks Ss to think about the sentence patterns in the video. Try to pronounce the words when being called or volunteer to do so if one thinks one can do so. Guess the meaning of each word after pronouncing the word right. T asks Ss to finish 1a and check their answers. T plays the tape and asks Ss to finish 1b. T plays the tape again and asks Ss to repeat the conversations they hear. Set a scene: Your best is calling you on the phone. Have a dictation test: hand out the test papers and have the students finish it within 4 minutes. Ss match the phrases about daily activities with pictures. Ss finish 1a and match the activities with the pictures. Ss listen to the tape and write the numbers from 1a. Ss need to think what these people are doing. Ss listen to the tape again and then repeat the conversations with their partners. Talk on the phone with one’s friend to talk about what one and one’s family are doing. Take the test carefully.
