学情教材分析 学情分析： Junior One students have learnt the present progressive tense in the primary school and mastered some words and expressions about this tense. They know how to describe the tense simply, but they still have difficulty in using this tense to speak well by looking at the pictures in the oral English test. Besides, they show great interest in English. 教材分析： This lesson is the listening and speaking part of Section A. 【What】The conversations are talking about what people are doing. 【Why】Students can use these key words and sentences to talk about what people are doing in daily life. 【How】Students can extract key information from the recording by locating key words.

Step One Warm-Up Pronunciation 根据所给音标拼读单词，并猜测词义。 【语言能力】 [4minutes] Lead-in 引起学生兴趣，让学生快速入境。导入复习. 学生是否能认真观察图片给出正确答案；是否能认真并且无误的回忆所学的知识点。 【语言能力】 【文化意识】 [5minutes] Present the phonetic symbols of the key words in this part to the students and let them pronounce the words with their phonetic knowledge from last term either by calling some students to do so or giving the chances to the volunteers. T asks Ss to give descriptions and asks the whole class to guess the animal. T leads Ss to review the animal words by showing pictures and asking questions, “What animals can you see in the zoo What animal is it ” And then invites some Ss to answer them. Try to pronounce the words when being called or volunteer to do so if one thinks one can do so. Guess the meaning of each word after pronouncing the word right. Ss make descriptions and guess the animal described. Ss answer questions quickly by observing pictures. Pictures and guessing game can provide a good review for former knowledge.
