学情教材分析 学情分析: Students have learnt the present progressive tense in Section A and mastered some words and expressions about this tense. They know how to describe the tense simply, but they still have difficulty in using this tense to speak well by looking at the pictures in the oral English test. 教材分析: This lesson is the listening and speaking part of Section B. 【What】The conversations are talking about where people are doing something . 【Why】Students can use these key words and sentences to talk about what people are doing in daily life. 【How】Students can extract key information from the recording by locating key words.
核心素养目标 通过本节的学习,学生能够: Language ability: (1) Students are able to master the following words and phrases: pool, shop, supermarket, man, swim, at the library, do his homework, shopping, buy milk and bread (2) Students are able to use the following sentence patterns: He is playing basketball at school. She is shopping at the supermarket. -Is the man swimming in a river -No, he isn’t. He’s swimming in a pool. Thinking capacity: think accordingly when watching videos and pictures to improve the ability of observation and critical thinking. Cultural awareness: Students can discover what is happening in life, cooperate with others and love our lives. Students can cherish the current time and work hard for their dreams. Learning ability: Students are able to master the usage of the present progressive tense and use the tense to talk about what is going on or happening. (1) To train students’ ability of listening and speaking skill. (2) To foster students’ abilities of communication and their innovation.

Step One Warm-Up Pronunciation 根据所给音标拼读单词,并猜测词义。 【语言能力】 [4minutes] Lead-in 引起学生兴趣,让学生快速入境。根据所给图片问题,复习之前所学。 To introduce the new words to Ss and help Ss practice new words through the activity.. 【语言能力】 【文化意识】 [5minutes] Present the phonetic symbols of the key words in this part to the students and let them pronounce the words with their phonetic knowledge from last term either by calling some students to do so or giving the chances to the volunteers. T shows Ss some pictures and asks Ss to answer the questions according to the pictures. T shows students the new words and phrases in the picture. Try to pronounce the words when being called or volunteer to do so if one thinks one can do so. Guess the meaning of each word after pronouncing the word right. Ss answer the questions according to the pictures. Ss learn to read the new words and phrases according to pictures.

T asks Ss to finish 1a and check their answers. T asks Ss to complete the sentences according to the chart in 1a. T asks Ss to ask and answer questions with their partners according to 1a. T plays the tape and asks Ss to finish 1c. Tell Ss to close their textbooks and to take notes while listening. Play the recording of Conversation l again, pausing after each sentence to give Ss a chance to write down what they hear. T asks Ss to listen to the conversations and fill in the missing parts. Use information in 1c to make conversations. T asks Ss to make up sentences according to pictures. Ss look at the pictures and complete the chart. Ss look at the pictures and complete the chart.
