教学重点： 1. Help students get familiar with the steps of making a scrapbook. 2. Stress the importance of practicing honesty and responsibility.
教学难点： Make students master the procedure to make a scrapbook about honesty and responsibility.
教学过程
Step1 Lead-in Get the students to review what have been learned in this unit by asking the following questions: 1. What are the characters mentioned in this unit 2. How do they practice honesty and responsibility 3. What are the different aspects in a scrapbook about honesty and responsibility 1).stories 2).films 3).poems 4).quotes 5).idioms 6).proverbs 7).songs Step 2 Pre-making 1. What is a scrapbook A scrapbook is a method of preserving, presenting and arranging theme-focused material in the form of a book. 2. What does a scrapbook include A scrapbook usually includes pictures, photos, texts, decorations etc. 3. How should we make a scrapbook How to make a scrapbook*Get all your tools together.*Choose your aspect.*Design its layout appropriately to arrange the chosen material.*Use tools such as color pens, scissors, stickers and glue to put all the selected material together.*Proofread the draft to make sure there are no mistakes (punctuation, spelling, grammar, content, layout…).
Step 3 While-making 1. Choose an aspect in a group and write down the reason. 2. Make a scrapbook according to the steps learned in this lesson. Step 4 Post-making 1. Present the scrapbook page to the whole class in turns. 2. Ask questions about other group’s work. 3. Evaluate the scrapbook pages and vote on the best one. Step 5 Summary Summarize how to make a scrapbook and underline the importance of honesty and responsibility again. Homework 1. Give suggestions on how to improve the group’s scrapbook page according to other group’s work. 2.
