Good morning, ladies and gentlemen! It’s a great honor to share my thoughts of reading on this special World Reading Day.
Reading has been my cherished hobby since my childhood, when I would treasure every book that I could find. The books led me into a splendid world, in which I would share joys and sorrows with the characters. However, the most important is that the books can help me out when I feel low or I can’t figure out how to get along with others, etc. They really offer me good opportunities to grow up.

Dear English Club members，
It's my great honor to share with you our group project “Surveying Students’ English Novel Reading."

With the development of information technology and the increasing popularity of digital reading, people’s reading habit has increasingly shifted from print media to online reading.
Despite the convenience digital books bring, we can never attach importance to reading physical books too much. As we finger/wander through the pages, we can pause and make marks wherever we want, digesting or reflecting on the material or writing down important points for subsequent review. Also, the scholarly scent of the ink will intrigue us into the magical world of books, spiritually satisfied. By the way, it can be better for our eyes without too much exposure to digital screens.
