　　“Spiral Island Ⅱ” looks like a real island with beaches, trees and pools. But it's different from most islands. There are thousands of plastic bottles under the island to keep it afloat(漂浮).
　　All of this is the work of Rishi Sowa, an artist from the UK. In 1998, Rishi gave up his job and left the UK to live a simple life in Mexico. He did not have enough money to buy land, so he decided to build his own island, Spiral Island. He collected 250,000 plastic bottles, put them into nets and built a wooden platform(平台) on top of them. On the platform, he built a small house and planted trees and other plants.
　　Rishi lived happily on the island with his dog, Rainbow, cats, Bonita and Easy, two chickens and a duck. But in 2005, he lost his home because of the heavy rain. However, Rishi did not give up and at once started to build another island in a safe area. His house wouldn't be hazardous and he called it Spiral Island Ⅱ.It was stronger and safer than Spiral Island.

A team of scientists from China studied 117 glass beads (珠子) that the Chang'e-5 spaceship brought back to the Earth in 2020. The beads were made of very small space rocks. What you should do Step 1
　　Let your parents help you prepare “paper bridges”. Use paper towels(纸巾) to make two of them. They will take in and carry away water.

　　Take one paper towel. Put one end of it into the glass of blue water and the other end into the empty glass.
Take the other paper towel and do the same thing to the glass of red water and the empty glass.
Step 3
　　Watch what is going on. This experiment takes some patience(耐心).
What you can see 　　Your paper towels start getting wet and after some time you will find that the empty glass is starting to have water. Interestingly，if red and blue go together, it becomes purple. So, you will see three colors now.
