“Is/Are there… ”意为“有……吗？”，是 “There is/are…”的一般疑问句形式。 Be动词要与后面的主语保持一致，其肯定回答是 “Yes, there is/are.”, 否定回答是“No, there isn’t/aren’t”。

（1）pay在此处作不可数名词，意为“付费”。pay phone意为“付费电话”。
