教学目标
By the end of this section, students will be able to: obtain information about the three popular sporting events mentioned in the video; explain which sporting event they like best; introduce some other sporting events that they know about.
教学内容
教学重点： How to get students to know something about the Australian Open, Formula 1 and the Tour de France; How to develop students’ thinking ability by listening and speaking . 教学难点： How to help students talk about some sporting events.

Step 3: Speaking ① Have students answer the two questions on page 15. The cars were so loud and fast! I just enjoy the excitement whenever I see a beautiful, shiny automobile racing through the track, which makes me feel like I could be as skilful and confident as the driver too. I always watch the Championships. Held every summer in England, it is the world's oldest tennis tournament. All of the best players in the world compete in the tournament and there are various events for men, women, doubles and juniors. When I see the great players on television, the green grass surfaces and the spectators enjoying these exciting matches, I really want to be there too! ② Have students discuss the meaning of the quotation on page 15 with their partners.
