Learning strategies acquire learning resources from websites; reflect on and evaluate the learning process and outcome.

教学过程
Activity 1: Reading for information: 1. Scan the passage and find out: Q1: Which of the following attributes of human thought does AI have now Q2: How do people feel about AI Why [Designing purpose] This activity encourages Ss to locate specific information while reading, laying a solid foundation for Ss’ critical thinking ability of thinking out of the box. In this activity, Ss’ reading strategies and thinking abilities of scanning, comparing and analyzing are enhanced. Activity 2: Reflecting and discussing Q1: Can you give examples of AI using in your life Q2: What do you think AI will be able to do in the future Q3: What possible benefits or problems will AI bring us [Designing purpose] Reflecting and thinking after reading offers Ss a chance to reflect and think beyond the lines. Activity 3: Writing Suppose you are Li Hua, an exchange student in Britain. A new bookstore near your school is seeking advice on modernization from readers to promote the sales. Write a letter to the manager, Mr. Smith, offering your advice and expectations. Q1: How do you begin your writing in paragraph 1 Q2: How do you offer your suggestions in paragraph 2 Q3: How do you end your letter in paragraph 3 [Designing purpose] Ss are expected to think out of the box based on reading on AI and put it into use. Activity 4: Assignment 1. Gain more information about the origin, development and application of Artificial Intelligence online, appreciating how it has changed life through https://removal.ai/benefits-of-artificial-intelligence/ 2. Research into how AI can be used to modernize a bookstore. 3. Polish your writing based on what you have learned. [Designing purpose] It requires Ss’ further extensive reading, offering a stimulus for autonomous reading, mind exchanging and a stage for innovation.
