1. China has the biggest population in the world.
population n. 人口 (集合名词)
1) 作主语时，谓语动词通常用单数形式。
The population of+某地+is+数词
e.g. The population of my hometown is about three million.
2) 表示人口“多”或“少”时,常用large,big/small修饰。
e.g. My village has the smallest population in our town.
3) 对人口数量提问，用疑问词what/how large。
e.g. What / How large is the population of your country
4)“有多少人口”时，常用“have / has a population of …”。
e.g. This city has a population of nearly a million.

any other + 可数名词单数：“在同一范围内除了某人或某物以外的其他人或物”
e.g. 彼得跑得的比他班里的其他任何同学都要快。
