I was tidying the warehouse and caught sight of a small bike lying quiet on the ground.As I was looking at it,the sweet memory about it crowded into my mind. Many years ago,it was a Sunday morning on my sixth birthday.My fatherbought me a new bike.I couldn't wait to get on it and learn how to ride,so Ibegged my father to teach me in the garden. After I sat on the new bike,my fatherhelped me put my two hands on the handle bars and my feet on the pedals.Then,he pushed the bike so that the pedal tarted to move. I was scared so I fell off thebike and hurt myself.But my father kept encouraging me to stand up,be brave andtry again.After my first try,I could cycle around the garden shortly. After that,Ipractise it often and gradually,I was able to ride the bike more skillfully.
I kept riding the bike until it was too small for me.It is still one of my mostprecious possessions, for not only was it my first bike,but a symbol of my courageas well as my father's love. And I learnt that love has great power.

A MOTHER'S DAY SURPRISE
The twins were filled with excitement as they thought of the surprise they were planning for MothHow pleased and proud Mother would be when they brought her breakfast in bed.They planned to mak.toast and chicken porridge.They had watched their mother in the kitchen.There was nothing to it.Jenna and Jeffknew exactly what to do.
The big day came at last.The alarm rang at 6 a.m.The pair went down the stairs quietly to the kitchen.Theydecided to boil the porridge first.They put some rice into a pot of water and left it to boil while they made theFrench toast.Jeff broke two eggs into a plate and added in some milk.Jema found the bread and put two slices intothe egg mixture.Next,Jef turned on the second stove burner to heat up the frying pan.Everything was goingsmoothly until Jeff started frying the bread.The pan was too hot and the bread turned black within seconds.Jennathrew the burnt piece into the sink and put in the other slice of bread.This time,she turned down the fire so itcooked nicely.
Then Jeff noticed steam shooting out of the pot and the lid starting to shake.The next minute,the porridgeboiled over and put out the fire.Jenna panicked.Thankfully,Jeff stayed calm and turned off the gas quickly.But thestove was a mess now.Jenna told Jef to clean it up so they could continue to cook the rest of the porridge.But Jeffshand touched the hot burner and he gave a cry of pain.Jenna made him put his hand in cold water.Then she caughtthe smell of burning.Oh dear!The piece of bread in the pan had turned black as well.
