提取故事的主要信息和情节
基本步骤和技巧

基本步骤
快速阅读文章,找出文章中的六要素(5W1H)——who, when, where, what, why, how。
对故事情节进行整理和分析,划出表示人物情感态度的词,方便后续的设计和预判。
技巧
1. 人名、地名都是大写。
2. 注意一些表示时间或递进关系的词,如the next day/two days ago、however/finally等,预示着一个情节的发生或者故事的转折。
3.每段的主要故事情节通常在首句或尾句。
When the last customer left KFC, it was already 10:30 pm. Adam, an 18-year-old college student, dragged himself home. He had been working at KFC for over a month that summer vacation.
Entering his room, Adam found his younger brother Bill sitting on the edge of his bed with an uneasy expression on his face.
“Sorry, Adam. I . . I did something wrong, ”Bill jumped up and said nervously.
“What is it ”
“This afternoon I sneaked(溜) out for a ride on your motorcycle and accidentally hit our neighbor Osman Brook's car. I was so scared and I. . I hurried home in panic. ”
“Is the car seriously damaged ”
“The left headlight got broken. ”
“It's truly your fault and it's really dangerous to ride a motorcycle at your age. Besides, it's illegal, "Adam raised his voice, obviously annoyed. Hearing this, Bill lowered his head and bit his lips hard.
“Anyway, it's no use crying over spilt milk. I will deal with it tomorrow. Now you go to bed and have a good sleep. ”

The next morning when Adam got up, Bill was still sleeping soundly. Adam was more determined about what he ought to do as an elder brother.
After breakfast, Adam took out all the money he had earned and went out of the house with it. In the yard he saw his motorcycle, on whose side the scratches(划痕)were clearly visible. Adam shook his head and sighed slightly. Then he quickened his pace to Osman's house.
When he arrived, he was welcomed by Osman's wife Mary, who told him that Osman had gone to the garage to have his car repaired.
“I have something important to tell him. Can I wait until he comes back ” Adam requested eagerly.
“Of course. He should be home soon, ”Mary invited Adam in, served him a cup of coffee and began chatting with him.
After half an hour, the door opened and came in Osman. Having said hello to each other, Osman and Adam both sat down on the sofa.
How:
Adam decided to pay for his brother’s fault, so he went to Osman’s
house to deal with it.

1.增加情感描写:描述人物的情感
2.细化动作描写:①把动作分解成动作链;
②增加修饰动作的描写(怎么样的动)

1.增加情感描写
情感描写主要是用来描述人物的情感
主要句式:主语+ felt/was/were+(程度副词)+表示情绪的形容词(sad,happy...)
如:Bill felt very sorry.
练习:翻译
1.Osman感到非常的感动。
Osman was very/deeply moved.
2. 这两兄弟非常的惊讶和开心。
The two brothers were very surprised and happy.
①把动作分解为动作链。
如:apology→Aadam bowed low and said sorry to Osman。
练习:扩句和翻译
1.亚当赔钱。
动作分解:把钱从口袋中拿出来 → 递给Osman → 说:“这是我所有的钱了,希望能够赔偿你的损失。”
翻译: Adam took out the money from his pocket and then gave him the money, said: “This is all my money, I hope it can pay for your loss.”
2.Osman开门发现是Bill。
动作分解:走过去 → 打开门 →发现是Bill站在门外 → 感到惊讶 → 请进来
Osman went to open the door, only to find that Bill was standing outside. He felt very surprised and let him in.
2.细化动作描写:
②增加修饰动作的描写(怎么样的动),如增加副词。
如:said → sincerely said
万能句式:主语+副词+单个动词 /主语+动词短语+副词
练习:翻译和扩句
1.Osman摆了摆手(怎么摆的手),拒绝拿这个钱。(增加副词)
Osman waved his hand gentlely, and refused to take the money.
3.增加对话
注意事项!
禁止废话连篇. 避免对故事情节和人物刻画没有帮助的对话。
不可过于强调对话的方式。比如每个said都加一个副词,适当的留白可以给读者想象的空间。如果想要增加词汇量,可用动作描写来替代。
如:“Come in”,Osman smiled.
对话对象十分明确的情况下,无需频繁添加用来引出对话的单词。
如在Billl来Osman家之前,房间里只有Adam和Osman, 完全没必要一直用Adam/Osman said来引出对话。同上,可加入一些动作描写使语言更生动自然。
对话不可过多,不能超过非对话的一半。
4.必要时可以适当增加一些情节回顾
比如在续写Adam上门道歉这一情节中,Adam要承认自己弟弟犯下的错误,那么就需要对弟弟所做的事情做一个简单的回顾。所以,情节回顾是需要的时候才回顾,并且要尽量简短,如果对故事情节和人物塑造没有帮助,就不要进行回顾。
