资源简介 Unit 2 I’ll help to clean up the city parks. Section A (3a – 3c)教材分析及设计思路本教材是使用的人教版新目标Go For It!八年级下册。本节课主题属于“人与社会”的范畴,涉及“志愿服务和公共服务”,围绕着“志愿服务以及慈善活动”展开。本课通过学习Mario和Mary分别在兽医院和读书项目中的志愿活动,学生能够向他人提供帮助,同时掌握并使用动词不定式。同时学生能够对志愿工作进行评价和思考。让学生学会关爱动物,关爱社会,增强社会责任感和使命感。学情分析:学生在学习了Unit2SetionA 1a-2d的基础上,对志愿者服务已经有了认识,能够用所学知识谈论志愿者工作,具备了在志愿活动方面的交际应用能力;同时学生具有团队合作精神,所以在设计新课导入时用到了图片导入和问题导入;设计学生活动时用到了小组讨论、同桌问答、同桌编对话等。教学核心素养:(一)语言能力:学习掌握下列词汇:several, feeling, satisfaction, joy, owner, journey学习掌握下列短语:give up(doing)sth. want to be,care for, at the age of, try out (for),at the same time学会使用动词不定式(二)文化意识:了解世界各地的学生们都进行哪些志愿活动;了解Mario和Mary对自愿活动的看法;让学生能意识到帮助他人,乐于奉献是一种良好的品德,培养学生为他人着想,热爱公益事业,乐于助人的优良品质。(三)思维品质:培养学生推理和归纳总结的能力。(四)学习能力:1) 阅读短文,能按要求找到相应的信息。2) 提高学生的阅读能力。3) 培养学生利用思维导图复述课文的能力二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) 掌握本课出现的生词和词组,达到熟练运用;2) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息;通过阅读练习提高阅读能力;3)运用动词不定式完成课文相关练习。2. 教学难点:1) 阅读短文,获得相关的信息的能力;2) 理解并运用所学的词汇及表达方式;3) 利用思维导图对课文进行复述。三、教学过程新授课环节 教师活动 学生活动 设计意图Step1 Revision Ask: As volunteers, what could we do to help others Let Ss discuss the ways to help others and thenshow some pictures Ss discuss the ways and say out: We could visit the sick kids in the hospital to cheer them up . We could ________ food at the food bank to help homeless people. 通过对前面知识的复习和回顾,为新授课谈论志愿者工作做准备。Step 2 Lead-in Show students the pictures ofa boy and a girl,introduce them . Students learn about them 通过图片引入并呈现人物介绍,导入新授课。Step3 While Reading (3a) Tell Ss to read the article in 3a quickly and answer: Who are they Let students skim the passage and find out the topic sentence. 3.Show a form 1.Try to find the answers to these questions. 2.Skim the passage andfind out the topic sentence. 3. Read the passage again and fill in the blanks. 培养学生对文章的整体把握能力,同时让学生掌握阅读策略:1.文章或段落开头(结尾)通常是对内容的主要概括。2.scanning (寻读)带着问题找答案,抓住关键词。Step4 Careful Reading (3b) Ask students to read the article 1).Why do Mario and Mary volunteer to help others 2).What do they say about volunteering 2.Check the answers 1.Students read the article and answer. 2.Discuss the answersin groups. 让学生带着问题阅读文章,有助于让学生了解文章的主旨大意,培养学生从文章中获取相关信息的能力。Step5 Language points Show some useful phrases. Show some difficult sentences. Ask students to read and translate. Students read them. 2.Discussin groups: Translate them into Chinese. 3. Students share their answers 此环节为学生疏通文章,提出重点词组,并解决学生文章中的难句Step6 After reading(3c) 1.Ask students to read again and finish 3c. Check the Answers. Students read it again and finish 3c 引导学生带着任务进行阅读,初步了解动词不定式,为后面的语法做铺垫。Step 7 Retell the passage Give some key words and a mind map,let Ss retell.
