[题型解读]
读后续写提供一段350词以内的语言材料,要求考生依据材料内容、所给段落开头语进行续
写(150词左右),将其发展成一篇与给定材料有逻辑衔接、情节和结构完整的短文。
读后续写所选材料以记叙文为主,且具有一定的故事性、趣味性和延展性,便于学生发挥想
象力进行续写。下文连贯性较强,语言难度适中,便于学生感知、品读和借鉴使用。给出续写段落首句,在一定程度上限制着故事的发展方向,防止想象漫无边际。
[备考策略]
1.准确理解材料主旨
读后续写的前提是读透原文。阅读的过程中要厘清故事情节发展,分析人物关系和情感变
化,准确把握材料主旨,防止在写作过程中出现离题、偏题等问题。
2.认真剖析首句提示
首句提示在一定程度上限制着故事的发展方向。认真剖析首句提示,寻找其与原文故事的
情节关联,以确保续写内容与原文融洽度高,逻辑合理,衔接顺畅。
3.合理构思续写内容
在准确把握故事情节和人物情感变化的基础上,结合首句提示,对故事的发展做出预测,既
要做到合情合理,又要做到合乎逻辑。结尾处注意与前文做好呼应,表明恰当的情感态度,使故事主题进一步得到升华,体现正能量。
4.推敲优化语言表达
在保证词汇和语法结构使用准确、恰当的同时,尽可能多地使用较为高级、复杂的语言结构
和词汇,做到表意清晰,地道自然;注意人称、数、时态等,避免中式英语。除此之外,要体会原文材料的语言特点,从场景描写、动作描写、心理描写等方面对续写内容进行润色,提升语言风格契合度。
满分技法1 读后续写要写好,“7·3·3”原则要做到
读后续写,顾名思义要先读,然后再写,那么,在读的过程中要注意读什么呢 在写的过程中
又要注意哪些呢 本讲以2023年新高考I卷为例,要做到7个“不”;3个“原则”,3大“步骤”。
一、7个“不”
1.不增加人物
由考纲样题及近5年高考真题中所给的段首可知,续写的故事情节发展是由原文
的人物所推进,因此,强行增加人物有可能会偏离情节发展。
2.不增加旁支情节
题目要求“考生根据所给情节进行续写”,旨在延续原材料的故事情节,并不是要发展新
情节。
3.不用过多对话
在续写中展示对话,虽能丰富内容和语言,增强语篇的连贯性,但使用过多的对话,会显得
篇幅累赘且很难在限定的词数里把整个后续的情节发展补充完整。
4.不用负能量结局
结局设计绝对不能负能量。内容应该积极向上,能增长知识或传播正能量。如2023年新
高考I卷,续写思路应该是由我自我怀疑,想要放弃,但最终我还是选择了坚持并成功。并最
后升华到只要我们勇于创新,并付诸持之以恒的努力就可以克服困难并从中获得乐趣和
成长。
5.不在文末设置悬念
题目要求是“使之构成一篇完整的短文”,若在文末设置悬念,就会给人一种还没结束的
感觉,这样的故事是不完整的。
6.不偏离原文主题
续写的情节应时刻围绕着短文的主题去推进。如2023年新高考工卷,由续写第一段开头
语内容“几周之后,我都快忘了比赛的时候,消息来了”。和续写第二段开头语内容“颁奖仪式
后我去了老师办公室”可知,第一段可描写这个消息是获奖消息,这和原文“我”在老师鼓励下,一直在练习写作,写作水平越来越高,获奖也是必然结果这一主题衔接起来。
7.不违背逻辑常理
情节和细节的想象要合理,符合生活常识及具有逻辑性。
二、3个原则
1.原文一致原则
续写内容要前后衔接,上下连贯,保持时态一致、人物一致,事件一致及语言表达风格一
致。如本题中通篇短文都在用一般过去时,那续写也应以一般过去时为主。
2.曲折性原则
凡是故事都应有跌宕起伏或矛盾冲突,其中人物会遇到困难或问题,但最终能解决。但
情节设计不能过于复杂或离奇,否则阅卷老师不能快速读懂你想表达的内容。
3.正能量原则
故事内容一定要传递正能量,围绕“真善美”的大主题去设计情节,弘扬社会主义核心价
值观。如迷路了但最终一定回到了家;失败了或遇到困难了,但最终一定成功了;吵架了但最
后一定是言归于好,和睦相处;犯错了,最后一定会改过自新,重新做人;贼逃了,最后一定是
绳之以法,等等。
三、3大步骤
读思:
三条线:时空线;剧情线;情感线;
一个点:语言特点。
加工:
阅读所给两段首句,把握两段首句内在联系,
构思大致框架,遵循记叙文的六要素。
续写:
根据情节发展和生活常识,确定故事框架,按“所见所闻所感”等构思具体细节。关注写作
的过程性,以词扩句,以点带面,多维构思,环环相扣,层层递进,跌宕起伏。
[写作步骤]
第一步 读原文--弄清信息点,梳理两情线
阅读原文,厘清故事中的人物、时间、地点、冲突,确定原文大意和主题,故事情节的发展脉
络。把握如下关键信息:
Who(人物) I (a student in middle school from Brazil), my social studies teacher
When(时间) When I was in middle school
Where(地点) At school
What(事件) My teacher asked me to enter a writing contest, but I refused at first, However, with the teacher's encouragement, I decided to participate in and prepare for it.
Why(起因) I came from Brazil and English was only my second language. I didn't love writing, so when being asked to enter the contest, I refused.But with the teacher's encouragement,I agreed to give it a try finally.
How(发展) With the help of my older sister and my teacher, I finished my writing for contest.
第二步 细读首句构思框架
结合对原文脉络和两情线的把握,根据两段所给首句中的已知信息推测新信息,合理推
断续写框架。
1.以两首句,定续写框架
Paragraph 1: A few weeks later, when I almost forgot the contest, there came the news.
由段首句1可知,几周后,在我几乎淡忘了写作比赛时,消息传来了。那具体是什么消息
作以下联想:
连环发问 情节示例
1.具体是什么样的消息呢 谁告诉“我”的 老师把“我”叫到办公室并告诉“我”获奖的消息
2.“我”得知消息后的第一反应是什么 感到惊讶,不相信自己会获奖
3.接下来发生了什么 参加颁奖仪式(衔接第二段)
Paragraph 2: I went to my teacher's office after the award presentation.
由段首句 2可知,颁奖之后我去了老师办公室。在办公室里,我和老师会发生些什么故
事呢 对于具体的内容,我们可以作以下联想:

续写部分情节线:“我”对写作不感兴趣,并坚信自己会失败不参加比赛→在老师再三的
鼓励和支持下→决定参加比赛→最后获奖。

第三步 n完成续写---精细打磨续写语言,丰富细节描写
一、细节描写,学涉笔成雅
续写部分应沿用原文语言特点衔接呼应,同时利用丰富的句式使续写部分斐然成章。
续写第一段(侧重描写“我”获奖,以及获奖后的情感变化)
1.一个星期一的早上,我的老师把我叫到他的办公室。告诉我在写作比赛中获得了第一名。
(普通表达)It was a Monday morning in spring. My teacher called me to his office, and
told me that I had taken first place in the writing contest.
→(高级表达)It was a Monday morning in spring, when my teacher called me to his office, telling me that I had taken first place in the waiting contest.
(非限制性定语从句+分词短语作状语)

二、漂亮结尾3法
续写不能虎头蛇尾,在篇末也要用心设计。由于文章的故事性、情节性强,所以续写的结尾
可以是自然的升华议论,亦可以是其他方式结尾。常见的结尾方式有3种,即画面定格、主题升华和首尾呼应。
1.画面定格法
(1)人物动作的画面定格
①Never had Dora received such a gift.speechless and happy, she held her son tightly
into her arms, with tears welling up in her eyes.
朵拉从来没有收到过这样的礼物。她高兴得说不出话来,把儿子紧紧地抱在怀里,泪水夺
眶而出。
②Then the butterfly would stay together with her lover forever. On the top of the
mountain, she seemed to enjoy the sunrise and the sunset happily with them.
然后蝴蝶就会和她的爱人永远待在一起。在山顶上,她似乎和他们一起愉快地享受着日
出和日落。
(2)特殊寓意的写景画面
①The sky was a billion pure eyes of light and the grass green underfoot, it was as if
night and day had become one beautiful moment. Dawn had come.
天空像是十亿只纯净的眼睛拼接在一起,脚下是青草,仿佛黑夜和白昼已成为一个美丽
的时刻。黎明已经来临。(黎明到来的画面)

2.主题升华法

3.首尾呼应法
①开头:I had an interesting childhood. It was filled with surprises and amusements, all
because of my mother-loving,sweet, yet absent-minded and forgetful. One strange family trip we took when I was eleven tells a lot about her.
结尾:Despite mom's being absent-minded forgetful, she was still a kind and nice mom.
②开头:It was summer,and my dad wanted to treat me to a vacation like never
before. He decided to take me on a trip to the Wild West.
结尾:Never had I had such a thrilling yet dangerous vacation before. The special trip to
the Wild West was deeply engraved in my mind.
③开头:A funny thing happened to Arthur when he was on the way to work one day.
结尾:What a funny day! Arthur couldn't stop laughing whenever he looked back on this
funny experience.
