Module 4 Unit 2 What’s he doing
一、教材分析
本节课是一年级起点第四册英语Module4Unit 2的课文教学,课型为巩固课。本课的主要内容是询问正在发生的事情。在第一单元已经学习了对于第二人称you的询问,本课将要学习对于第三人称he/she/they的询问。
二、学生分析
虽然在上节课已经学习了What are you doing I’m…. 在第二模块也学习了第三人称的现在进行时的肯定句和否定句。所以本节课的难度不大。但在第三人称复数的询问上会有一定的难度。所以本课的教学应尽量创设真实的语境,在设计活动时也应注意活动的层次性,尽量满足不同层次学生的需求。
三、教学目标
1、Knowledge Aim(知识目标)
学生通过课文能够听说读单词stone, five-stones, behind, hide, seek, hide-and-seek
掌握目标句型What’s he doing
2、Ability Aim(能力目标)
能够运用功能句询问别人正在做什么。
3、Moral Aim(情感目标)
学会融入集体,多参加有益的课外活动。

六、教学过程(Teaching procedure )
Step ⅠPreparation
To sing the song from Module 2 Unit2.
Play the guessing game. “What are you doing I’m…”
Free talk: Boys and girls, do you remember the little bear Now he is in trouble. What’s happening Now let’s go to see.
To show the flash of SB Activity1
Ask: What’s he doing Answer: He’s running.
Why He is eating the honey.
Listen to the tape and repeat, then read in roles.
设计意图:通过歌曲营造轻松愉悦氛围,通过复习旧知为本课做铺垫。卡通短片的播放让学生迅速进入到本课的学习中。
Step ⅡPresentation
(I) Dialogue leading-in
The bear is running. What about our friends What are they doing Let’s go to see.
(Ⅱ) Dialogue learning
Watch the CD-ROM of the text.
Listen to the text again, then think: What are they doing (They’re playing.)

Teach: stone, five-stones, behind, hide, seek, hide-and-seek
其中在学习behind时,采用演示法直观教学。对于离现在的学生比较遥远的five-stones 可以采用实物演示。
Listen to the text again, then repeat.
Read in roles.
设计意图:通过问答的形式理解课文内容,同时学习新词和功能句。同时通过分角色朗读提高学生的学习兴趣。

Game: Listen to the sound and guess: What’s he/she doing He’s….
此游戏要求与同桌共同完成, 一人问,一人猜答案。
Learn the chant.
Look at the pictures and try to understand the chant’s meaning. Then listen and repeat.
设计意图:通过一系列的游戏活动学习本课的功能句,并使学生学会在语境中运用他们。
