教学目标与要求
1.知识与能力目标
(1)全体学生能理解:should, go to bed, shouldn’t =should not, take down, clean。
(2)全体学生能听懂、会说并运用句型: You should tidy your toys,并运用句型讨论英语课堂上应该遵守的规则。
2.情感态度目标
在小组活动中能与其他同学积极合作,共同完成学习任务。
3. 教学重点及难点
重点:单词、句子的听、说、读、写。运用正确的句子描述应该做的事和不应该做的事。
难点:全体学生能运用should, shouldn’t说明规则。
课前准备
1.教师自己制作的课件和教材的配套光盘。
2.卡片。
Step 1 Warm up and lead in
Greeting : 谈论天气、以及经常做的事情。
Warmer : Look and say some phrases of verbs on PPT.
Step 2 Task presentation
1. Open the books and look at the picture .
T: Sam is angry now. Do you know why
2. Watch CD-ROM and answer the question.
Elicit: should , shouldn’t ,go to bed and learn “should”
could should (将could-should结合对比语音学习)。
3. Listen and repeat.
Step3 Text learning
T: 相信每个同学家里都有自己的家规,今天,就让我们也使用“should, shouldn’t”来讨论英语课堂上应该遵守的规则吧!
1. Listen and answer: Look! What’s Tom doing
引出第一个问题“What is Tom doing ”初听课文,整体理解感知。
2. Listen again and think the following questions.
Q1: What shouldn’t Tom do
Q2: What should Tom do
看问题“What should or shouldn’t Tom do ”看课文划出答案,引出重点句子型并板书,注意should/shouldn’t之后的单词变为红色,为后面讲授should/shouldn’t之后动词特点,做铺垫。并对板书的二个句子,以及回答进行同位练习和反馈。
3. Listen and repeat and find sentences with should or shouldn’t. And then answer Q3: Who will help Tom
学生跟读全文,圈单词并且回读含有should/shouldn’t 的句子。Who will help Tom 看课文最后一幅图片,谈论Amy, Lingling and Tom. 渗透情感教育。
①呈现PPT and read sentences “What can you find ”
②Sum up “should or shouldn’t 后接动词原形。
③Do some exercises on PPT.
4. Practise reading
①Read the text by themselves.
②Act it out in group.
Step 4 Practice
T: In our life, we should help mum and dad, we should tidy our rooms, we should help each other. We should be a good boy or a good girl.
1. Make up sentences with: You should … or You shouldn’t …
2. Complete activity 4 practice “ look and say”
3. Do some exercises: read sentences and fill “should/ shouldn’t”.
Step 5 Task completion
1. Talk about another pictures.
课件出示生活中一些不文明行为的图片,让学生用学过的句子,提出建议:S: You shouldn’t You should …
2. Make the rules for Miss Yang’s class rules .
课件呈现一些提示词组,小组内讨论并制定规则。
Step 6 Summary and homework
1.引导学生回顾单词并且总结should/ shouldn’t 的用法。
2. Homework:
必做:
①Listen to the dialog 3 times.
②Copy words and sentences two lines.
选做:Try to write the rules for your classroom/ the library.
Blackboard design:
Module 10 Unit 1 You should tidy your toys.
You shouldn’t play with the CDs!
You shouldn’t take the books down.
I’m sorry.
You should tidy your toys.
