Last weekend, I participated in the activity "Getting to Know the Plants Around Us" organized by the school student union.
The activity began with a gathering in the school garden. Our instructor gave a detailed introduction to various plants, teaching us how to identify them and explaining their characteristics.We then went on a journey to explore the garden, observing the plants closely, smelling their scents, and touching their leaves. We also took notes and shared our findings with each other.
Through the activity, we benefited a lot. Apart from providing a chance to relax us physically and mentally, it also helped us deepen our insight into the plant world.(98词)

An Unforgettable Sports Meet
The annual sports meet in our school just ended up with great success last week, which deeply impressed me.
In an effort to encourage us to get close to nature,our school launched an activity Getting to Know the Plants around Us last Sunday.
In an attempt to arouse students’ interest in science, our school successfully held an activity themed “My Favorite Scientist” last week .
As a sports lover, I participated actively in it. Having signed up for relay race, I spared no efforts to prepare myself for the race. When the day finally arrived, I stood on the start line with confidence. In the process, I did make a breakthrough and get out in front of others. I was about to reach the finish line when suddenly a runner fell and got injured. Without any hesitation, I stopped to give him a hand.Consequently, I was the last to arrive at the finish line.Unexpectedly, I won the warmest applause at the scene.
Through the sports meet, not only did I experience the sports spirit, but also I did the right deed, helping people in need.

I participated in the 100-meter dash(百米赛跑).Before the race began, I focused my mind and breathed deeply. Then, the moment came. I heard the gunshot and leaped to my feet. For a split second,I ignored everything else around me and concentrated on the finish line in front of me.Even through my heart was racing, I forced myself to run more quickly.When I reached the finish line, my teammates and friends cheered loudly. I felt an immense sense of accomplishment and pride. The hard work and practice had paid off.
