该句是感叹句的省略形式，后面省略了主语、谓语：it is,其完全形式是
What a nice coat it is!。感叹句是用来表示喜、怒、哀、乐等强烈感情的句子。
通常由how或者what开头，都用陈述语序。后加感叹号，读降调。
eg. What big apples(they are)! 多么大的苹果啊！
How warm it is today! 今天天气真暖和！
感叹句通常有以下两种结构：
（1）What+(a/an)+adj.+n.+主语+谓语! 其中主语和谓语可以同时省去。
eg. What a lovely girl ( she is)! (她是)多么可爱的女孩啊！
What lovely girls (they are)! (她们是)多么可爱的女孩啊！
What bad weather (it is)! 多么恶劣的天气呀！
（2）How+adj./adv.+主语+谓语！
eg. How handsome the boy is! = What a handsome boy! 这个男孩好帅啊！
How strongly the wind is blowing! 风吹得可真大啊！

后接物/动词不定式作宾语，多用于否定句和疑问句，常与can, could和be able to搭配使用。
eg. I can’t afford this car.
Key points
so…that…意为“如此……以至于……”，that之后加一个句子，so之后常有三种搭配：so+adj./adv.意为“如此……”;so+adj./adv.+a/an+n.意为“如此一个……”;so+many/much/few/little+n.意为“如此多的、少的……”。
eg. He is so strong that he can carry the heavy box. 他很强壮，可以搬动那个重箱子。
I felt so tired that I couldn't work any longer. 我太累了，不能继续工作了。
【拓展】so...that...通常可以与 too... to do sth., enough to do sth.句型互换。
eg. The problem is so dificult that the students can't work it out.
= The problem is too difficult for the students to work out.
= The problem isn't easy enough for the students to work out.
这个问题太难了，学生们不能算出来。
The boy is so young that he can't go to school.
= The boy is too young to go to school.
= The boy isn't old enough to go to school. 这个男孩太小了，他不能去上学。
2. I liked it so much that my father bought it for me.
我是如此喜欢它以至于我爸爸给我买了。
Key points
另外，so that+从句，表示“以便……，为了……”。
eg. He gets up early every day so that he can catch the early bus.
= He gets up early to catch the early bus. 他每天早起，以便能赶上早班车。
2. I liked it so much that my father bought it for me.
我是如此喜欢它以至于我爸爸给我买了。

where to buy a scarf是"特殊疑问词+to do不定式”结构，意为“去哪儿买条围巾“。这种结构常见的有：where to do sth.在哪里做某事，what to do做什么， how to do sth.如何做某事，why to do sth.为什么做某事。这个结构还可以改为宾语从句。
eg. Could you please show me how to use the computer
= Could you please show me how I can use the computer 你可以教我怎么使用电脑吗？
I can't decide which scarf to buy.
= I can't decide which scarf I should buy. 我不能决定该买哪一条围巾。
