First, it’s a good idea to have some study plans before exams. They could be from one month to six months. The time length depends on the importance of the exam. If you are studying for the final exam, you’d better make a one-month plan.
Second, think about your environment. Make sure the place where you are going to study is comfortable with enough light. Moreover, if you are that kind of person that likes listening to music while studying, you have to find out what kind of music works best for you. In most cases, you’d better choose classical music instead of pop or rock music.
Third, take regular breaks. If you study for too long, your mind will work less effectively. Many people suggest studying an hour with a ten-minute break. In your short break, you can give yourself a treat, such as a cup of green tea.

When I got one at last, my friends came to play with me every day. Two weeks later, I didn’t like this game any more. When I was ten years old, I dreamed of going to the moon and playing basketball with my friends there. I started to talk about space all the time at school. But my classmates just said, “Stop it, we are not interested in that”. So finally, I gave it up and hated that dream too. Then I grew up and knew that I needed a plan. I should study hard and make enough money to do lots of useful things. I’ve decided to learn about business after I finish college. In this way, I hope I can get rich and use my money to help lots of people in need.

It was my first year teaching in a special needs classroom and I wasn’t sure what to expect at our school sports meet. My students faced a lot of challenges, from mild learning disabilities (轻度学习障碍) to cerebral palsy (脑瘫).
Mark was one of the latter. He had to get around in a wheelchair. But he always had a positive attitude (积极态度) and greeted everyone with a huge smile.
His classmates loved him, especially Mike, Andy and Lucas, three boys who were good at sports. I knew Mark wanted to be like them.
When track and field (田径运动) day came, Mike, Andy and Lucas did a good job, giving the crowd something to cheer about. Mark sat on the sidelines (边线), cheering them on.
The final event of the day was the 400-metre race. Everyone was invited to either walk or run. We watched as they took off. Mike, Andy and Lucas all wanted to prove who the better athlete was.
But when the three reached the finish line, they stopped and turned to look behind them. At the back of the crowd was Mark. He was alone on the track with over half the distance left.
Mike, Andy and Lucas looked at one another, and a silent thought passed among them. Slowly, they ran back toward their friend. They formed a circle around Mark and kept pace, cheering him on as he had done for them before.
In the end, the four crossed the finish line together to the excited shouts of their teachers and classmates. Seeing the look on Mark’s face, I came to understand what makes the Special Olympics so special. Everyone deserves (值得) their own time to shine.

It’s common to wonder sometimes, “What if something goes wrong ” It’s important to realize that thought and manage it so that you won’t get worried.
What are “what if” thoughts Worrying about the future is a normal part of life. From time to time, everyone wonders what would happen if something doesn’t go to plan: “What if I make a mistake ” or “What if everyone laughs at me ” These “what-if” worries focus on a negative result but not a positive one. When you spend a lot of time worrying about bad things that could happen, it’s called “catastrophising (灾难化)” because you’re imagining the future could be a catastrophic.
How does “what if” worries make you feel Everyone worries sometimes. Spending a lot of time “what if-ing” makes you feel nervous and stressed, which might make you not want to do things. What’s worse, it will be hard to pay attention to what you’re doing or what people are saying.
How to deal with the worries There are different ways you can help yourself. Firstly, create an “If/Then” plan. For example, IF you have to stand up in front of the class, THEN you will take three deep breaths (呼吸) and remind yourself that you have prepared and you’re OK. Secondly, you can also find out what you’re worrying about and then challenge it. For ex-ample, instead of thinking “What if I miss the ball when I try to kick it ” change that around to ask “What if I kick the ball on target (目标) ” Lastly, pay attention to something other than your worry.
