I used to be a quiet boy. I chose to sit quietly at the back of the classroom. I never answered the teachers’ questions.

Luckily, I wasn't the only“new”one at the game, so I decided to learn the game, do my best at each practice course, and not to find any excuse for the things I didn't know “just yet”.
I practiced a lot. Soon I knew much about the game and learned the movements from the
coach. Soon I had some competitive(竞赛的) ability though I didn't have much confidence. As
time passed by, I learned how to work together.

Living in the city, you probably have become used to noise pollution, However, this doesn't change the fact that loud sounds can influence your health.
Many people believe that the only physical effect(影响) of living in a noisy place is having headaches sometimes. Although headaches can occur because of too much noise, it's by no means the only effect of noise on health. Noise pollution creates problems for almost everyone.

Therefore, it's important for us to deal with noise pollution. Cities can help their people replace old windows with noise-free windows. They can also reduce(降低) traffic speeds in city areas.
