IV. Teaching Procedure
Step1 Lead-in

Step2 Presentation
① Play the listening material for A Chinese Kites and ask students to listen with specific questions to understand the history, culture, and materials of kites.
② Explain new vocabulary and phrases to help students understand the listening material.
Guide students to complete related exercises to consolidate their understanding.
Step3 Practice
① Group activity: Students work in groups to discuss different types of kites and materials used for kite-making. Each group selects a kite to present.
② Role-play: Students role-play as salespersons and customers, practicing the use of learned vocabulary and sentence patterns in a dialogue.
Step4 Extension
① Transition the topic to picnics, discussing preparations and considerations for a picnic.
② Present the dialogue in B part Speak up, introducing the content of a picnic conversation.

VI. Teaching Reflection
Through this lesson, I found that students were very interested in the topics of kites and picnics, actively participating in discussions and role-playing activities. Some students encountered difficulties in understanding information from the listening material, requiring further training in subsequent lessons. Additionally, some students showed good imagination and creativity in the extension section, effectively applying the learned sentence patterns. In future teaching, I will focus more on cultivating students' practical application abilities and creativity.
