My favorite singer is Taylor Swift. She was born on December 3th, 1989. She is one of the most famous singers in American. Taylor plays country music and pop music. It took her a few years to become famous. She has already sold 14 CDs and enjoyed success in music. When she was a child, she was interested in music. Her first album was released in2006. Since then, she has enjoyed success in many countries. Her songs are popular with listeners of all ages.
I like her because she is a talented person. One of my favorite songs is “Spark Fly”, which encourages people not to give up even when life is difficult. I listen to this song when I am upset.

My Favorite Writer
My favorite writer is J. K. Rowling, who is from England. She wrote a famous book called Harry Potter. It is a series of seven fantasy novels. It is full of fantastic imagination. It is amazing and I couldn’t put it down until I finished reading it.
I read the book when I am free and then I’m completely absorbed in it. I like the main character Harry Potter because he is very brave and confident to fight against the bad guys. He loves his friends deeply and he always tries his best to protect them.

教材分析
本课是一节写作课和复习课，3a-3b的写作任务，要求学生描述自己喜欢的歌手或作家。3a是一个写作前的准备活动，该活动通过一系列问题引导学会说呢过列出与所选的作者或歌手等相关的信息作为要点，同时也帮助他们理清思路，为写作做好准备。3b在布置写作任务的同时还提供了一些参考的词汇句型以供学生在写作时灵活运用。Self Check主要考查学生对动词搭配的掌握程度。
学情分析
在前面几课时的学习中，学生对于单元主题下的语篇理解及语言结构表达有了充分的积累学习，积累了本单元大量的写作素材，为本课时的开展做好准备。同时，通过前面有计划、有目的、系统的写作训练，学生逐渐对初中英语写作的方法和策略有所了解。本课时话题贴近学生生活，通过前面的学习，学生已基本掌握了相关语言知识，本课时关键是学生语言的输出，对学生有点难度。
