一、教学目标分析:
该板块的活动主题是“学习作出人生抉择”( Learn to make choices in life)。从听说板块的道德困境话题转移到这一板块的人生抉择问题,贯穿其中的线索是本单元的核心人物——林巧稚。选择林巧稚的生平作为阅读部分的题材内容,不仅仅因为她是我国著名医学家,为我国医疗事业作出了巨大的贡献,更重要的是,她的人生经历能给学生带来无限启迪。无论是在求学期间还是在职业发展道路上,林巧稚曾面对的道德困境和人生选择,与当前每个年轻人即将面对的社会生活有着许多相似之处,而从她的人生抉择中,学生能够感受到她身上的仁善、自强、勤奋、执着、敬业、慷慨,还有高度的责任感和广博的爱心。这些美好品质不仅值得学生学习,还能启发年轻人反思自我,思考如何面对人生抉择,认真选择未来的道路,全力以赴地面对人生的挑战。林巧稚的故事对于今天的年轻女性也有重要的教育意义,能够激励她们坚持信念和梦想,理解生活的价值和意义,努力抓住机遇,把握自己的人生。另外,关于林巧稚牺牲个人生活一心追求事业这一选择,教师应注意保持客观中立的态度,可以启发学生讨论,同时尊重他们不同的想法和态度。
优势:我以任务型教学为阅读课的主要教学方法,摒弃了原先阅读课的读前、读中、读后的设计思路。任务前、任务中和任务后的设计都是为中心任务而服务,同时也让学生除了从学习的文章当中来总结和思考“林巧稚身上有哪些美德?”,也能引导学生发散思维,进而从更高度、更广度和更深度来总结以及学习传奇人物身上的美德,从林巧稚身上学到如何抉择人生,如何传递爱心,如何面对问题和障碍,学会思考和解决问题,并树立正确的价值观,塑造良好的品行,弘扬中华民族传统美德。
二、思路设计:
将本节课的中心任务“What virtues did Dr。 Lin have ”贯穿于教学流程的始终是我设计本节阅读课的一个新思路。
任务前(第1分钟到第5分钟)
我先给学生呈现3分钟歌曲视频,展示了抗击新型冠状病毒中那些努力前行的医护人员和医生们,让学生进行头脑风暴发散思维思考“如果你是这些医护人员你会做何种选择?”,然后引出伟大的医生林巧稚,导入到本节课中。通过文本题目中mother角度,思考林巧稚的美德和品质,为中心任务:发现林巧稚的美德,做好铺垫。与本单元的大话题相关。
任务中(第6分钟到第30分钟)
本环节针对两大语篇,我一共设计了4大大任务。
①第1个任务设计,让学生了解人物传记的文学体裁形式,并知晓写人物传记需要包含的要点,其中林巧稚人生的抉择和思维品质也会体现其中。
设计意义:本任务为本节课中心任务做好铺垫,也体现了教学目标中的知识目标。
②第2个任务设计,以宏观角度来设置:总结2-6段中林巧稚的选择、选择原因、总结其成就,都是为中心任务总结其美德和品质做准备。
设计意义:本环节是主任务,在每一段阅读任务结束之后,我都带领学生最终回归到本节课的中心教学任务“What virtues did Dr。 Lin have ”中来。带领学生始终贯穿中心任务来进行阅读环节的开展,带着阅读目的进行阅读任务,过程中培养学生们跳读、略读和细节阅读等阅读技巧。
③第3个任务设计,文本第3段的批判性思考问题:如果有机会出国留学,你会选择学业结束都,待在国外还是选择回国?给学生回忆哈佛女孩刘亦婷,物理学家杨振宁等的选择,让学生结合自己的现实生活实际浅谈自己的选择。
设计意义:本任务可以培养他们的批判思维和发散思维,不仅能够帮助学生更好理解林巧稚的选择意图和人物特点,也渗透着对学生思维品质的培养。小组合作讨论和分享观点更能引起思维碰撞,实现深度学习,也为中心任务和本单元的话题,息息相关。
④第4个任务设计,两个阅读任务:“ What was the main principle guiding Dr Lin through the choices in her life ”“What kind of person do you think Dr Lin was ”
设计意义:第一个问题,很好的回扣了本文首段,首尾呼应,引领林巧稚一生中做艰难选择的主要原则,学生从中学会文中提取有效信息,从而掌握“下结论”的方法,很好的体现了本节课的核心阅读策略。第二个问题也基于中心任务后,概括和总结林巧稚美德,与之前的3个阅读任务层层递进,环环相扣,也和本节课的中心任务和本单元的话题,息息相关。
任务后(第31分钟到第38分钟)
学生在有一定的知识输入之后,在此阶段就要进行任务输出。”Choose one situation that needs your hard choice in your life, have a role play。 Present your group's final chioce and analyse reasons and conclude your point。”老师给学生呈现其中两种情况:遇到好友考试作弊,或者要求你给传递答案;马路上遇到被撞在地站不起来的路人。由此让学生思考生活中其他艰难选择的场景,小组进行小组以角色扮演的形式,演绎和描述出艰难选择的场景,并阐述原因,进而总结结论。
设计意义:本环节是整堂任务型教学法课堂的总结和输出环节,完成本节课的中心任务后回扣到现实生活中,也结合中国名人做出的中重大抉择,了解他们抉择的不易之处,学习林巧稚和名人们的选择,反思自己的实际生活,提高解决问题的能力。也有很好的情感教育意义。
总结(第39分钟到第40分钟)
①给学生展示明星们:郎平、王亚平、钟南山、张桂梅,你所知的他们人生中的艰难选择是什么?最后他们做出了何种选择?简述原因,让学生体味他们遭遇过的艰难困苦,感受他们的坚韧不催的优秀品质和美德。
设计意义:呼吁学生们学习林巧稚和名人们的美德:先人后己,传递爱心,勇于面对问题和障碍,学会思考和解决问题,并树立正确的价值观,塑造良好的品行,弘扬中华民族传统美德。
②布置作业:将上课展示的角色扮演的生活中的选择,以书面形式落实到作业本上。
